Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for beam indication channel in a multi-beam system. A method of operating a user equipment includes receiving configuration information for one or more transmission configuration indication (TCI) states, associated TCI state identifiers (IDs), and a channel conveying one or more TCI state IDs and receiving the channel conveying the one or more TCI state IDs. The method also includes determining, based on the one or more TCI state IDs, one or more spatial domain filters for at least one of reception of downlink channels and transmission of uplink channels and determining a time for applying the one or more spatial domain filters. Additionally, the method includes at least one of: receiving, starting at the determined time, the downlink channels using the one or more spatial domain filters; and transmitting, starting at the determined time, the uplink channels using the one or more spatial domain filters.

Abstract: A wireless communication system generates Artificial Intelligence (AI) responses to network data. Computer circuitry hosts network functions, distributed ledgers, ledger clients, and AI engines. The network functions serve User Equipment (UEs) over Radio Access Networks (RANs), and in response, transfer the network data to the distributed ledgers. The distributed ledgers receive and store the network data. The ledger clients select some of the network data from the distributed ledgers and transfer the selected network data to the AI engines. The AI engines receive the selected network data, and in response, generate the AI responses. The ledger clients and the AI engines may comprise wireless network slices.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless repeater may communicate with multiple base stations, and the wireless repeater may identify a first base station as a primary base station. The wireless repeater may monitor for and receive control information from the primary base station, where the control information may include control information from a second base station and used by the wireless repeater to communicate with one or more UEs connected to the second base station. The primary base station may receive an indication of the control information from the second base station via a backhaul link. In other examples, the wireless repeater may monitor for control information from the two or more base stations based on a control signaling pattern. For example, the wireless repeater may be configured with periodic time intervals for monitoring for control signaling from respective base stations.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application describe a communication method, a first station (STA), a second STA, and an access point (AP). One example method includes: setting, by a first station (STA), a basic service set (BSS) color to be used by a second STA in a device-to-device (D2D) transmission with the first STA, wherein the first STA sets the BSS color to be a first color that is preconfigured for D2D transmission, wherein the first color is different from a second color allocated by an access point (AP) associated with the first STA for transmission with the AP, and wherein the first color is used for D2D transmissions between the first STA and other STAs in addition to the first color being used for D2D transmission between the first STA and the second STA; generating, by the first STA, a data frame that comprises the BSS color that is the first color; and sending, by the first STA, the data frame to the second STA in the D2D transmission.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for signaling a message regarding UE receiver performance degradation between a user equipment and a network. Close UL/DL frequencies or harmonic relationships may cause MSD. A user equipment may indicate an actual or improved maximum sensitivity degradation value for a configuration, or that there is no maximum sensitivity degradation for a configuration, using capability transfer signaling, RRC reconfiguration signaling, and/or measurement reporting. The indicated maximum sensitivity degradation for a configuration may be found in a table. The user equipment may additionally signal information about configuration(s) it supports and/or measurements it has made related to cross band transmit-to-receive degradation and/or SINR. A UE may implicitly indicate a MSD value through selection of a bandwidth combination set. MSD may be used by the network to assist in making scheduling decisions.

The first transceiver and the second transceiver are configured for a sidelink communication with each other. The wireless communication system supports a retransmission protocol for the sidelink. The retransmission protocol enables the first transceiver to perform a retransmission for a data packet, responsive to an explicit or an implicit feedback from the second transceiver, which receives one or more data packets from the first transceiver, in case of a non-successful transmission of the data packet over the sidelink.
