    摘要: An engine of the invention includes an engine main unit having cylinders, an intake line, an exhaust line, a supercharger, a turbo sensor detecting a rotational speed of the supercharger, a control device controlling, based on signal from the turbo sensor, an operating state of the engine main unit that has a correlation with the rotational speed of the supercharger, and a crank angle sensor detecting a rotation angle of a crankshaft. The control device recognizes timings at which the cylinders are in a top dead center state based on detection signals of the crank angle sensor and, also, makes a disconnection judgment for the turbo sensor at non-top dead center timings that are within one combustion cycle of the engine main unit and at which none of the plurality of cylinders are in a top dead center state.

    摘要: An engine control device is provided with a main operation unit, an auxiliary operation unit, a changeover switch, and an engine control unit. The main operation unit is capable of performing an operation of changing a rotation speed of a propulsion engine mounted on a ship. The auxiliary operation unit is capable of performing an operation of changing the rotation speed of the engine instead of the main operation unit. The changeover switch is capable of performing an operation of switching between a main ship handling state in which the rotation speed of the engine can be changed by operating the main operation unit and an auxiliary ship handling state in which the rotation speed of the engine can be changed by operating the auxiliary operation unit. The engine control unit stops the engine when the changeover operation unit is operated to switch from the auxiliary ship handling state to the main ship handling state.

    摘要: Provided is an engine with a starter valve arranged in a compact space and with a cylinder head having a cooling water passage and a starter valve feeding compressed air to a combustion chamber. The starter valve is arranged parallel in the axial direction to a cylinder while fitted into a sleeve, and a portion of the cooling water passage is formed by the outer surface of the sleeve fitted into a starter valve insertion hole formed in the cylinder head. A starting air passage orthogonal to the axial direction of the starter valve insertion hole is formed in the cylinder head, and a portion of the wall surface of the starting air passage is formed by the end surface on one side of the sleeve.
