Provided are a semiconductor device and a method of manufacturing the semiconductor device. The semiconductor device includes a charge storage pattern formed on a substrate; a dielectric pattern formed on the charge storage pattern; a first conductive pattern including silicon doped with a first impurity of a first concentration, the first conductive pattern being disposed on the dielectric pattern; and a second conductive pattern including metal silicide doped with a second impurity of a second concentration, the second conductive pattern being disposed on the first conductive pattern. The first concentration may be higher than the second concentration.

Disclosed are a DNA aptamer specifically binding to the Her2 (ERBB2) receptor involved in the onset of breast cancer, a composition for the suppression of cancer metastasis comprising the same as an active ingredient, and a composition for the diagnosis of cancer comprising the same as an active ingredient. Due to its binding mechanism being different from that of the conventional antibody, the aptamer can be effectively used for suppressing cancer metastasis and diagnosing cancer.

A method of treating a surface of a substrate using modified urushiol derived from Toxicodendron vernicifluum is provided. More particularly, the reactivity of a hydroxyl group of urushiol extracted from fresh Toxicodendron vernicifluum is removed before the lacquer is used as a UV coating agent for a substrate such as a steel sheet. Therefore, the substrate may have high antibacterial activity, and excellent appearance and functionalities such as far-infrared radiation, blocking of electromagnetic waves, enhanced corrosion resistance, high crosslinking speed when a low content of a photoinitiator is used, excellent surface gloss and high scratch resistance.

A liquid crystal display device capable of improving a contrast ratio and of reducing a halo phenomenon with low power consumption and a method for local dimming driving the same are disclosed. A method for local dimming driving a liquid crystal display includes determining a local dimming value for each of light-emitting blocks based on analyzing input image data by the unit of light-emitting block provided in a backlight unit; determining a halo degree by analyzing a total light quantity of black pixels having black gradations in the input image data; adjusting the number of spatial filtering repetitions based on the determined halo degree; compensating the local dimming value by performing spatial filtering for the local dimming value an adjusted number of times; and controlling brightness of the backlight unit for each of the blocks by using the compensated local dimming value.

A semiconductor memory device includes a memory cell array comprising a plurality of cell strings and a page buffer group comprising a plurality of page buffers coupled to the respective cell string through bit lines. Each of the page buffers includes a latch unit for storing data to be programmed into memory cells included in the cell string or for storing data read from the memory cells. Each of the page buffers is coupled to a pad for the test operation of the memory cells according to data stored in the latch unit in the test operation.
