    摘要: Electric signals produced in association with both a speed of movement of an acceleration pedal and an engine temperature are transmitted to a fuel injection valve in an intake system asynchronously with the running of an engine, so that an amount of fuel being injected from the fuel injection valve is increased as the speed of movement of the acceleration pedal increases and as the engine temperature is lowered. As a result, fuel is injected at a proper rate according to both the acceleration required and the engine temperature, the driving feeling during acceleration as well as a fuel consumption rate are improved, and an amount of detrimental components in the exhaust gases is lowered.

    摘要: An acceleration signal detector is provided for detecting an acceleration condition of an engine based on the open-and-close operation of a throttle valve. Switching arrangements associated with the throttle valve are provided for detecting the fully closed condition of the throttle valve and for detecting a partially closed condition of the throttle valve. Signal processing apparatus receives output signals from the switching arrangements, and a change in the output of the means for detecting a partially closed condition subsequent to a change in the output of the means for detecting the fully closed condition is indicative of acceleration. This arrangement eliminates erroneous signals that might otherwise be caused by chattering of switch contacts.

    摘要: Disclosed is an EGR system of an internal combustion engine, in which a part of the exhaust gas is drawn out from an exhaust pipe and returned to an intake pipe through a control valve, and a reference pressure in the intake pipe corresponding to the amount of recirculated exhaust gas, predetermined by experiment (beforehand) in various combinations of engine intake air flow and speed, is memorized in a memorizing device. The reference pressure responding to the amount of sucked air being introduced into the engine and the engine rotating speed in the case of actual operation of the engine is read out from the memorizing device and, then, compared with the real pressure in the intake pipe in the case of actual operation of the engine. The control valve has a diaphragm chamber, into which positive or negative pressure is introduced, which pressure is controlled by a solenoid valve actuated by a signal from a control device so as to make the real intake pipe pressure coincide with the reference intake pipe pressure.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a computer control system of an exhaust gas recirculation device for an internal combustion engine, wherein values of the parameters of desired EGR ratios when various conditions in the engine intake system exist are preliminarily stored in the memory of the computer, and wherein a value of a parameter is read out from the memory by detecting a value of the engine condition during its operation. In the system, values of temperature correction factors with respect to at least one temperature characteristic of the engine are also preliminarily stored in the memory. A temperature correction value is read out from the memory in accordance with a detected temperature value of at least one portion of the engine. The computer calculates the amount of EGR needed from the read out values of desired EGR and temperature correction and produces an electrical signal for controlling operation of the EGR value.
