    摘要: A hydraulic control system of an automatic transmission for a vehicle includes a line pressure control part for converting line pressure from a hydraulic pump into constant hydraulic pressure. A torque pressure generating part converts the constant hydraulic pressure fed from the line pressure control part via a manual valve into torque pressure in accordance with the operation of a transmission control unit. A torque pressure switching part switches the supply direction of the torque pressure fed from the torque pressure generating parts in accordance with the operation of the transmission control unit. A shift part primarily feeds the torque pressure fed from the torque pressure switching part to friction members and secondly feeds drive pressure to the friction members after converting the line pressure fed from the line pressure control means into drive pressure.

    摘要: In an electronic-hydraulic control mechanism of an automatically shifting motorcar transmission, control valves (88, 70, 65, 67, 91 and 94) are coordinated with actuation devices (81 to 87) of hydraulically engageable and disengageable friction clutches or brakes (A to E1). The pressure level in one main pressure system of the control mechanism is regulated by a main pressure valve (29) while a control unit (72) designed as microprocessor controls the actuation devices via electrically actuated solenoid valves (41, 42 and 43) and pressure-control valves (38, 39 and 40) in accordance with operation parameters of the motorcar transmission and of a drive engine, the same as of a shift and/or travel program control. To provide an electronic-hydraulic control system in which the control operations develop under control, at low construction cost, the pressure control valves (38, 39 and 40) are situated in a first control system (36) of reduced pressure compared to the main pressure system (lines 25 and 34) through which they act with pilot control upon the control valves (65, 67, 70 and 94) and the main pressure valve (29) while the solenoid valves (41, 42, 43) are situated in a second control system (44) of likewise reduced pressure compared to the main pressure system, said solenoid valves (41, 42, 43) acting with pilot control upon shift valves (28, 30, 47) which control the feeding of pressurized fluid from the main pressure system to the pressure valves (65, 67, 70, 94).

    摘要: A method for preventing the slipping of a vehicle engine during braking, by judging whether or not there is an excessive slipping of driven wheels on the basis of detection values detected by driven wheel speed detectors for detecting driven wheel speeds and detection values detected by follower wheel speed detectors for detecting follower wheel speeds, such that if it is decided that there is excessive slipping during engine braking, an actuator capable of changing the output from an engine mounted in the vehicle is operated to increase the output from the engine, wherein the method comprises steps of: detecting a gear position in a transmission disposed between the engine and driven wheels; determining a target engine revolution number on the basis of the gear position and the detection values of the follower wheel speeds at the time when it is decided that there is the excessive slipping; and determining a control amount for operation of the actuator on the basis of the target engine revolution number. Thus, it is possible to provide improvements in responsiveness and accuracy of the control conducted when excessive slipping is produced during engine braking.

    摘要: A fail-safe hydraulic control system for an automatic transmission for a vehicle is provided. This fail-safe system includes generally a frictional element which is operable to establish a reverse mode in the transmission for allowing the vehicle to move backward, a manual valve responsive to shifting operation of a selector lever to a reverse position for directing fluid pressure from a pressure power source to a reverse position pressure line, a pressure control valve for modifying hydraulic pressure supplied from the pressure power source for providing a preselected pressure level required for actuating the frictional element, an automatic transmission control unit responsive to the selector lever shifting operation to the reverse position to provide a control signal to the pressure control valve for providing the preselected pressure level to the frictional element within a given period of time, and a pressure delay circuit for establishing fluid communication between the reverse position pressure line and the frictional element to provide the preselected pressure level to the frictional element after the given period of time following the selector shifting operation to the reverse position. Therefore, the reverse mode is established securely regardless of operational conditions of the frictional element and/or the control unit.
