    摘要: Waxy distillates, or raffinates containing from as little as 10% wax but more typically about 30% wax or more are upgraded by a process comprising the steps of hydrotreating the waxy oil under conditions which convert less than 20% of the feed into products boiling lower than the feed to reduce the sulfur and nitrogen content of the oil followed by hydroisomerizing the hydrotreated waxy oil to reduce the wax content and increase the viscosity index. This oil having a waxy content of less than 30%, preferably less than 25%, can now be more easily dewaxed using conventional solvent dewaxing procedures. The advantage of the present process resides in the increased yield and/or stability of oil as compared to other upgrading, dewaxing processes which convert wax to light products. The isomerization catalyst is preferably a low fluorine content catalyst, more preferably a noble metal on 0.1 to less than 2 wt % fluorine on alumina catalyst, most preferably a noble Group VIII metal (e.g. Pt or Pd) on low fluorine content (less than 2 wt % fluorine) on small particle size alumina (less than 1/16 inch diameter) catalyst. The most preferred alumina support is a 1/20 inch trilobe.

The groove sidewalls and base have a surface finish in the range of about 32 to 125, which provides sufficient smoothness to retain the O-ring in the required non-planar shape.The valve seat groove (50) can be produced according to the disclosed method, which is preferably implemented in a numerically controlled four-axis horizontal milling tool system. The valve seat part (100) is mounted in a fixture (102) on a rotary table (104) such that the part axis (56) is aligned with the longitudinal axis (Z) of the tool (106). Once the initial penetration position and depth of the tool (106) is established on the eccentric surface (52a) of the part (100), the only required machine movements are table rotation (104) and tool vertical axis movement (Y).

    摘要: A method of preventing permeability damage due to clay swelling, disintegration and migration in subterranean formations producing oil and gas, where such formations are to be the subject of enhanced oil recovery techniques using anionic or caustic flood chemicals. Prior to the use of such enhanced oil recovery techniques, a cationic organic polymer capable of stabilizing clays is introduced into an oil reservoir treatment area followed by introduction of a sufficient amount of a non-anionic aqueous spacer fluid to cause the cationic organic polymer to reorient itself on the reservoir clays in a substantially monomolecular layer and manner such that it will continue to stabilize the reservoir clays but will not substantially react with the anionic or caustic flood chemicals to form permeability damaging precipitates or to decompose thereby reducing its clay stabilization effectiveness.

A pulley assembly on the curtain rod is invertible into either of two positions to enable the relocation of the draw cords with respect to the curtain on the rod. A master carrier includes a detachable component removable upon curtain rod inversion and reattachable to locate a curtain bar to receive the outer segment of the curtain.

    摘要: A system and method provide efficient, secure, and highly reliable authentication for transaction processing and/or access control applications. A personal digital key (PDK) is programmed using a trusted programming device to initialize and/or register the PDK for use. In one embodiment, the initialization and registration processes are administered by a specialized trusted Notary to ensure the processes follow defined security procedures. In a biometric initialization, the programming device acquires a biometric input from a user and writes the biometric data to a tamperproof memory in the PDK. In registration, the Programmer communicates to one or more remote registries to create or update entries associated with the user PDK. Once initialized and registered, the PDK can be used for various levels of secure authentication processes.

    摘要: An inspection system for inspecting a surface of a wafer/mask/reticle can include a modular array. The modular array can include a plurality of time delay integration (TDI) sensor modules, each TDI sensor module having a TDI sensor and a plurality of localized circuits for driving and processing the TDI sensor. At least one of the localized circuits can control a clock associated with the TDI sensor. At least one light pipe can be used to distribute a source illumination to the plurality of TDI sensor modules. The plurality of TDI sensor modules can be positioned capture a same inspection region or different inspection regions. The plurality of TDI sensor modules can be identical or provide for different integration stages. Spacing of the modules can be arranged to provide 100% coverage of the inspection region in one pass or for fractional coverage requiring two or more passes for complete coverage.

    摘要: A system and method provide efficient, secure, and highly reliable authentication for transaction processing and/or access control applications. A Personal Digital Key stores one or more profiles (e.g., a biometric profile) in a tamper-proof memory that is acquired in a secure trusted process. Biometric profiles comprise a representation of physical or behavioral characteristics that are uniquely associated with an individual that owns and carries the PDK. The PDK wirelessly transmits the biometric profile over a secure wireless transaction to a Reader for use in a biometric authentication process. The Reader compares the received biometric profile to a biometric input acquired at the point of transaction in order to determine if the transaction should be authorized.
