    摘要: Provided is a small form factor optical/magnetic disk including an integrated metal hub and a disk plate. The integrated metal hub includes a circular upper metal hub and a circular lower metal hub integrally formed with and disposed under the upper metal hub. The circular lower metal hub has a smaller diameter smaller than the upper metal hub. A central hole is formed in central portions of the upper and lower metal hubs and passes through the upper and lower metal hubs. The disk plate has a through-hole that is formed in a central portion and is directly associated with the integrated metal hub, and a recess that is formed around the through-hole and allows the upper metal hub to be mounted therein. Since the central portion of the small form factor optical/magnetic disk is not thick, the small form factor optical/magnetic disk can contribute to an ultra thin small form factor information storage device. Also, since manufacturing processes are simple, price and quality competitiveness can be enhanced.

    摘要: An active handoff system and method of a dual mode terminal capable of connecting to a wireless network, such as wireless local area network (LAN), and a mobile communication system are provided. The handoff method includes the steps of assigning, at a packet data service node of the mobile communication system, an IP address to the dual mode terminal connected to the service network, establishing, at the packet data service node, a tunneling path to the wireless LAN when the dual mode terminal moves from the mobile communication network to the wireless LAN, and disconnecting, at the packet data service node, the tunneling path to the wireless LAN, and establishing a tunneling path to another packet data service node whose Internet Protocol (IP) address has been established by the packet data service node, when the dual mode terminal moves from the wireless LAN to the mobile communication system. A dual mode terminal that moves from a 3G mobile communication system to a wireless network in an active state maintains an existing IP address assigned from an active 3G mobile communication system so that the dual mode terminal can maintain an upper layer session and transmit an IP packet to a terminal located in a 3G mobile communication system.

A thin-film structure forming a diaphragm responsive to fluid-transmitted acoustic pressure is disposed over the opening. The transducer further includes a plurality of semi-conductor supports and tangential arms extending from the diaphragm edge for connecting the periphery of the diaphragm to the supports. The tangential arms permit the diaphragm to rotate relative to the supports to relieve film stress in the diaphragm. The stop bumps determine the separation of the diaphragm from the substrate when the transducer is biased.
