    摘要: A pipelined A/D converter which minimizes differential non-linearity by preventing mismatching between converting stages. The A/D converter includes a plurality of converting stages connected in a cascade form wherein each of the converting stages includes an ADC unit for converting an analog input into a digital output. The digital outputs from said converting stages form a conversion output. Each preceding converting stage except a last converting stage further includes an amplifier for deriving and amplifying a conversion residue representing a quantization error resulting from the conversion performed by the preceding converting stage based on the digital output outputted by the ADC unit of the preceding converting stage and the analog input inputted to the preceding converting stage. The amplified conversion residue from the preceding converting stage is supplied as an analog input to a succeeding converting stage. A connector is provided for connecting the amplifier of the preceding converting stage to a node in the ADC unit of the succeeding converting stage. The node provides a base voltage to the ADC unit of the succeeding converting stage.

    摘要: This application describes a nuclear magnetic resonance inspection apparatus. In this apparatus, a nuclear magnetic resonance signal detected by a detection coil is wirelessly transmitted to a signal processing system. In another embodiment, the nuclear magnetic resonance signal is stored in a memory medium provided to the detection coil. This memory medium can be separated from the detection coil. The signal processing system reads out the nuclear magnetic resonance signal from the memory medium separated, and processes the signal.

    摘要: NMR signals of low concentration solutes are obtained with suppression of NMR signal of solvent by sequentially applying a first RF pulse sequence, a 180.degree. RF pulse and a second RF pulse sequence to an object. Each of the first and second RF pulse sequence includes equally spaced RF pulses which have flip angles in accordance with binominal coefficients. Phase errors due to inhomogeneity of a static magnetic field are cancelled through the two-time application of equally spaced RF pulse sequence.

    摘要: In an NMR imaging method of distinguishing two chemical shifts of unclear spins and obtaining respective spin distribution images, 180.degree. RF. pulses are applied twice to generate two spin echoes after spins of an object for inspection have been exicted. In the second echo among them, a pulse time-interval is so set that the time difference between the Hahn echo and the gradient echo may provide two chemical shifts with a phase difference of 2n.pi.. On the basis of information representing the distribution of a static magnetic field included in an image obtained from the second pulse, an image obtained from the first echo is compensated. By using the compensated image, spin distribution images with two chemical shifts distinguished are obtained.

Voltage at the connection points of a resistor ladder in which a plurality of resistor elements are connected in series, are compared with a reference voltage by a plurality of voltage comparators, a first current circuit is provided on the high potential side of the resistor ladder, a second current circuit is provided on the low potential side thereof, and analog input voltages are fed by providing an input terminal at any place of the resistor ladder except both ends thereof.

    摘要: Three thin-film coils having insulating layers therebetween are laminated on the coil winding portion of the core member. A terminal electrode is electrically connected to the end portion of the third thin-film coil. A terminal electrode is electrically connected to the end portion of the first thin-film coil through the lead-out opening portions and separated areas. In this way, the thin-film coils are electrically connected in series between the terminal electrodes. Then, in the thin-film coils, the winding directions of the neighboring coils having an insulating layer therebetween are opposite to each other.

    摘要: An LC component includes a coil conductor spirally wound around the outer peripheral surface of a wound core member having a substantially rectangular cross-section. A dielectric layer is arranged so as to cover the coil conductor. A capacitor electrode is provided on the dielectric layer so as to wind approximately once around the wound core member in the peripheral direction of the wound core member. The capacitor electrode includes first, second, third, and fourth surfaces. The capacitor electrode is divided by two cut grooves. One cut groove crosses the capacitor electrode obliquely from one side of the first surface of the capacitor electrode to the other side of the second surface adjacent to the first surface. Similarly, the other cut groove crosses the capacitor electrode obliquely from one side of the third surface of the capacitor electrode to the other side of the fourth surface adjacent to the third surface.
