    摘要： A device for fixing a flexible plate having angled or beveled suspension edges to a cylinder utilizes a plurality of fastening elements located in a cylinder groove situated radially inwardly of a fastening slit. The fastening elements are engageable with the suspension legs under the influence of spring forces. Separate fastening elements can be used to engage the leading plate suspension leg depending on the direction of rotation of the cylinder.

    摘要： A printing device for printing plastic cards utilizes a printing and inking unit which is supported in a pivotable frame, in cooperation with a counter-pressure cylinder to print individual cards in one or more streams of cards. The printing and inking unit includes an ink duct, a screen cylinder, an ink transfer cylinder, a printing forme support cylinder and a rubber blanket support cylinder. The pivot frame can be pivoted to separate the rubber blanket support cylinder from the counter-pressure cylinder so that the rubber blankets on both cylinders can be accessed.

    摘要： A method and apparatus for placement of a doctor blade bar against an ink dispensing roller utilizes doctor blade supporting base bodies which have resiliently supported doctor blades and which are shiftable between rest and work positions along doctor blade base support beams by blade base shifting devices. The doctor blades are moved into engagement with the screen roller along a curved path. The resilient support of the doctor blades eliminates blade warping and possible damage to the working edge of the blades.

    摘要： A short inking system for an offset web-fed rotary printing press utilizes a chambered doctor blade which contacts the lower periphery of the screen roller. A dampening system is situated interiorly of the plate cylinder. The axes of rotation of the screen cylinder and of the ink application cylinder are located on a first plane while the axes of the ink application cylinder and the plate cylinder are located on a second plane. The two planes intersect at the axis of rotation of the ink application cylinder and are inclined at an angle between 30.degree. and 60.degree. to the vertical.
