    摘要: An address determination circuit makes an address determination of an optical packet to which a destination address and a source address are assigned on a bit-by-bit basis. The address determination circuit has an optical branching section which divides the optical packet into branches, in which each of the branched optical packet contains the same original data, a delay section which delays at least one of the branched optical packets, a bit determination section which determines each bit value of the branched optical packets, and a logic operation section which performs a logic operation on the bit values of the branched optical packets determined by the bit determination section. The delay section delays the branched optical packets so that the logic operation section performs the logic operation on a bit assigned the destination address or the source address and a bit having a predetermined bit value in synchronization with each other.

A transversal filter is implemented for filtering the digital signal. A error detection device is implemented for calculating an error of the digital signal. A coefficient engine device is used for receiving the digital signal and the error, for extracting the error, and for updating a tap coefficient for the transversal filter so that the error is minimal.

    摘要: Sheet transportation apparatus operating in an image forming system for xerographic printing employing magnetic toner. The inventive features of the sheet processing apparatus are directed toward smooth transportation and discharge of printing sheets sent through a system image printing unit, across a sheet transport guide, and through an image fixing and sheet transporting unit which finally discharges the printing sheets. The sheet transport guide dips downward and meets a sheet admission guide, having superficial resistivity lower than that of the sheet transport guide to reduce electrical repulsion of the leading edge of a transported sheet. The sheet admission guide guides each sheet into a nipping position of a heating/pressure roller pair as fixing rollers in the image fixing unit. The heating roller heater is designed to promote even heat emission axially along the cylindrical surface of the heating roller, counteracting unidirectional flow of cooling air in the system, ensuring smoothness in the image fixing, sheet-nipping transport of the printing sheet. Further, a gear train transmits power simultaneously to the fixing rollers, and to a discharge roller pair. A middle gear of the train is disengagable by a mechanism releasing the pressure roller from the heating roller, in turn releasing drive power engagement of the discharge rollers, so that a sheet-jam condition in the system is easily remedied.

A sealing part seals an inside of a reduced pressure vessel from an outside, in which a high-elasticity polymeric material-eroding eroding substance is present and which is comprised of a substrate processing apparatus carrying out predetermined processing on a substrate housed in the reduced pressure vessel. The sealing part has a radical sealing member and a vacuum sealing member. The radical sealing member is disposed on an inside side of the reduced pressure vessel and is resistant to the eroding substance. The vacuum sealing member is made of the high-elasticity polymeric material and is disposed on an outside side of the reduced pressure vessel. At least one refuge space is formed through at least part of the radical sealing member and at least part of the vacuum sealing member being separated from one another. The radical sealing member and the vacuum sealing member are fitted together.
