摘要: The invention is intended to simplify a default mechanism of a throttle valve opening and closing device for the purpose of improving mountability of the device to a vehicle. When a motor generate no driving forces, a throttle valve is held in a position (1) by a return spring. In this position, gaps are formed between the throttle valve and a wall surface of an intake passage. Spherical recesses are formed in parts of the wall surface of the intake passage. In a position (2) where the throttle valve is opposed to the spherical recesses, the gaps are minimized in an operating range of the throttle valve.

摘要: A number of steps is reduced by manufacturing an electrode pad connecting a liquid discharge head to an external wiring by the same step of a common wiring for supplying an electric power to a discharge energy generating portion. A number of manufacturing steps of a head is reduced by forming a substrate for a liquid discharge head having an electrode pad and a common wiring for supplying an electric power to a discharge energy as a metal film made of the same material as the electrode pad in accordance with a plating in a step of forming the common wiring of the metal film in accordance with a plating.

摘要: An orally administrable uncompressed rapidly dissolving molded dosage form comprises a drug and either one or more saccharides or one saccharide and polyvinylpyrrolidone. Saccarides are chosen and used in proportion based on their solubilities. Methods for producing uncompressed rapidly dissolving solid preparations comprise mixing a drug and carriers according to the present invention and charging the mixture in a mold. Rapidly dissolving oral dosage forms facilitate administration of drugs to patients having a difficulty in swallowing such as children and the elderly.

摘要: This invention relates to an intra-articular preparation for the treatment of arthropathy, which comprises microcapsules of (a) a high-molecular substance, which has biodegradability and biocompatibility, and (b) a drug. When applied directly to a joint area, this preparation can achieve a high drug concentration at the target area, can inhibit occurrence of general side effect, and can maintain drug efficacy over a long term. The preparation can therefore alleviate the burden on the patient.

摘要: An inference processor includes a production rule memory, a meta knowledge generator, a meta knowledge memory, a production system interpreter, and a working memory. The meta knowledge generator obtains production rules satisfying transition conditions between all the combinations of the states of the respective variables in the production rules as a directed-graph matrix. The meta knowledge generator then decomposes the directed-graph matrix into strongly connected components, and obtains, as meta knowledge, 1) variable-conditions of the respective strongly-connected components and 2) productions rules satisfying transition conditions between the respective strongly-connected components. The interpreter generally determines an inference path from a given state to another state as a target, on the basis of the meta knowledge, and efficiently executes production rules, thereby performing inference processing.

摘要: In an electromagnetic relay, an armature block serving to actuate contact springs includes a pair of armatures and a permanent magnet disposed therebetween to magnetize the armatures to opposite polarities. Pole ends of a yoke carrying the excitation flux created by the relay coil extend between free ends of the armatures. The armature block is suspended by means of a resilient arm integrally formed with the block at one side thereof and having its outer end fixed to a bearing portion, so that a rocking motion of the armature block is achieved by a flexing motion of the resilient arm.

摘要: Electromagnetic relay having a coil-wound bobbin with flanges at each end, a reed mounted on one flange and extending through the bobbin, fixed contacts mounted on the other flange cooperating with a free end of the reed, and a casing formed by a base and a cover. An upwardly projecting peripheral wall is provided on the base, and the lower edge of the cover engages the peripheral wall. Coil, reed and contact terminals extend through bores formed in the casing base. Grooves in the lower side of the base communicate with the bores and with the lower ends of passages which emerge at the peripheral wall. Sealant filled in the grooves simultaneously seals the terminals in the bores and the cover to the base. When the cover engages the interior of the peripheral wall, webs provided on the upper side of the casing base confine the sealant to the bores and to pockets provided at the outer side of the cover. The bobbin flange interior has a separator against which the fixed contacts abut to define the spacing between the fixed contacts. The separator also defines the spacing between the free end of the reed and a permanent magnet which cooperates with pole shoes connected to the fixed contacts.
