摘要： On ink jet recorded matter comprising an ink jet recording medium having a substrate and an ink receiving layer formed thereon containing porous inorganic particles and an image formed with a pigment ink on the ink receiving layer, a protective layer covering the image is formed by thermally transferring a transfer layer from a heat-resistant carrier onto the image. The ink jet recording medium comprises a substrate and an ink receiving layer formed on one side of the substrate, wherein an ink jet recorded image and a protective layer covering the image are to be formed on the surface of the ink receiving layer, said side of the substrate, before the formation of the ink receiving layer, having a Bekk's surface smoothness of 200 seconds or higher and the surface of the ink receiving layer having a Bekk's surface smoothness of 60 seconds or higher. Also disclosed is an ink jet recording medium having no ink receiving layer, which comprises a substrate treated with a solution of a metal salt and in which the front and back sides of the substrate each have a Bekk's surface smoothness of 200 seconds or higher.

An ink jet recording medium in the case of carrying out bidirectional printing using a printer of a serial system wherein inks of at least two colors are mounted in carriages and the nozzle row is disposed in parallel with the main scanning direction of a head, wherein the recording medium comprises a base material and an ink-receiving layer, the ink-receiving layer has an average ink-absorbing capacity of from 10 to 30 cc/cm2, and the contact angle of the uppermost surface layer of the ink-receiving layer is from 20 to 60 degree to an ink having a surface tension of from 25 to 72 dyn/cm, is also provided.

The object pattern is deemed defective when all of the comparisons indicate pattern mismatches. The pattern is deemed not defective when at least one comparison indicates a pattern match. Thus, even if an inspected object includes misregistration errors, pattern defects can be detected with high accuracy.

摘要： A power supply switch wherein a contact operating member pivotably supported at its middle is coupled at one end to an end of a spring link and at the other end to an end of a tension spring, the spring link is coupled at the other end substantially to the center of a movable contactor which carrying on one end a movable contact for engaging with and disengaging from a fixed contact as well as the other end of the tension spring, and the movable contactor is formed to have on the other end a latch part to which a latch member is engageable as operatively associated with a bimetal plate for tripping the latch member to disengage it from the latch part, whereby the switch is made to break the contacts specifically upon detection of any excessive current, while sufficiently minimizing the size of the entire switch and improving the operability with an effectively reduced spring load applied during rocking operation of the operating member.

摘要： A liquid ejecting apparatus includes the following elements. A carriage allows a head ejecting liquid which is curable by light irradiation to move in the moving direction intersecting the transporting direction in which a medium is transported. A precuring light source, provided for the carriage, radiates light for precuring to dots formed by applying the liquid ejected from the moving head onto the medium. A full curing light source is provided for the carriage so as to be located downstream of the precuring light source in the transporting direction. The full curing light source radiates light for full curing to the dots which have been irradiated with light for precuring.
