Additional peptides having this glycosylation site and genetic information useful for preparing a number of variations based on this glycosylation site are also provided.

摘要： A flanged connector (20) has an insulating housing (21), a plurality of contacts (22) separated one from another within the housing, a metal shell (23) covering the housing so as to shield the contacts, and at least one flange (28) bent at and outwardly extending from at least one of edges of a front opening (24) formed in the metal shell. A female-threaded bore (30) is formed in each flange (28), which continues from a folded-back portion (27). This portion is formed by bending outwards and further bending rearwards an extension from the at least one edge so that the flange is or the flanges are retracted from the edges a predetermined distance. A pair of the flanges (28) may extend along the opposite side edges of the opening (24), or alternatively the single flange (28) may extend along an upper one of those edges. The flanged connector (20), which will be fixed by one or more set-screws (9) to a panel (10) of an electric or electronic apparatus's body, has thus those flanges (28) made as small as possible to reduce a space necessary for the connector to be surface-mounted.

摘要： A receiving apparatus receives a hierarchically encoded image signal and detects an error in the image signal. Then a filter process is performed on the image signal, the filter process being controlled based on the output of the error detections. More particularly, the image signal has multiplexed therein a first encoded image signal having a lower image quality and a second encoded image signal for obtaining a higher image quality. These are decoded to obtain a first decoded image signal and a second decoded image signal, and the position of an error in an image frame of the image signal is detected. Then a mode of the apparatus is set to one of a plurality of modes according to the detection, the modes including a first mode in which an image signal having the higher quality is obtained by synthesizing the first and second decoded image signals and a second mode in which an image signal having the lower image quality is obtained by inhibiting a synthesizing operation of the second decoded image signal to the first decoded image signal.

摘要： A tape printer includes a tape cassette, a cassette housing portion, a feeding device, a printing device, detecting switches, a table storage device, and a tape type identifying device. The tape cassette includes a housing, a tape mounted in the housing, a tape exit, and a type indicator portion provided adjacent to the tape exit and in a specified area of a front surface of the housing. The type indicator portion indicates a tape type and includes vertical information sections extending along a direction orthogonal to a feed direction of the tape and an aperture formed in at least one of the vertical information sections. A part of the detecting switches that opposes a surface portion other than the aperture is pressed to thereby detect identification information. The tape type identifying device identifies the tape type with reference to a tape type table.
