摘要： A refrigerating system of a gas injection type having first and second stage pressure reducers 3 and 5, between which a separator 4 is arranged, and a conduit 10 for introduction of a gaseous refrigerant separated at a separator 4 into a compressor 1. A by-pass conduit 11 is connected to a refrigerating system so that the second stage pressure reducer 5 is by-passed. An ON-OFF control valve 12 is arranged in the by-pass conduit. The control valve 12 is switched to an opened condition during a low load of the air conditioning system, which makes a pressure difference low between the outlet of the separator 4 and an evaporator 6, which prevent gas injection from being executed. A control valve can also be arranged in a gas injection conduit 10, which controls an amount of the gas injection in accordance with a ratio (compression ratio) of an outlet pressure to an intake pressure in such a manner a reduction of a gas injection amount is obtained when a value of the compression ratio is lower than a predetermined value, thereby preventing over-compression from occurring.

摘要： A charging apparatus for a rechargeable storage battery is disclosed which charges the battery at a constant current. The charging apparatus monitors a variation in voltage of the battery during charge and finds a minimum value thereof to estimate the amount of capacity of the battery consumed before charge for determining the charge time required for charging the battery fully based on the estimate of the amount of capacity and the temperature of the battery.

A central controller 4 calculates regenerative energy according to output signals from an ammeter 51 and a voltmeter 52. If a brake sensor 62 detects a sudden braking operation, the central controller 4 controls the regenerative braking force of the motor 1 through a motor controller 2, to maintain the regenerative energy around a maximal value.

摘要： In a scroll type compressor, when the operation of the compressor is stopped, compression chambers, for compressing a fluid, and a suction chamber are communicated with each other through bypass holes, and a spool valve to open and close the holes, so that the pressure in the compression chambers are lowered and the occurrence of a shock caused by a sharp increase in the load is prevented at the next start. Since the discharge pressure to drive the spool valve is introduced from a position upstream of the discharge valve, pressure is quickly lowered when the compressor stops, so that the spool valve can be quickly opened. Therefore, even when the compressor is frequently started and stopped, the occurrence of a shock can be positively prevented when the compressor starts.

摘要： A swash plate type variable capacity compressor having rotary valves that rotate together on a rotating shaft. The rotary valves are arranged on the shaft in such a manner that, upon one complete rotation, the rotary valves are connected, in sequential manner, for respective rotating angles, with circumferentially spaced piston chambers via respective intake passageways on the rotary valves. The arrangement between the intake passageways and the piston chamber changes in accordance with the axial position of the rotary valves on the shaft. Control of the rotating angle varies the effective volume of the piston chambers, thereby continuously varying the compressor capacity.

摘要： A brake system capable of implementing anti-skid and traction control operations has an electromagnetic valve for connecting a master cylinder to a wheel cylinder and for disconnecting the master cylinder from the wheel cylinder when anti-skid or traction control is executed. A piezo-electric hydraulic pump is provided for introducing high-pressure brake oil when anti-skid or traction control is executed. A pressure reduction valve selectively introduces and removes brake oil so that a desired wheel cylinder pressure can be attained when anti-skid or traction control is executed. A hydraulic switching valve is connected to the main oil pressure line parallel to the electromagnetic valve and allows pressure in the master cylinder to be opened to the wheel cylinder during a braking operation. The system also includes a unit for establishing one-way communication from the wheel cylinder to the master cylinder during anti-skid control to prevent pressure in the wheel cylinder from being higher than that in the master cylinder while preventing connection between the master cylinder and the wheel cylinder during traction control.

A first group of laminated, ring-shaped, thin-plate piezoelectric elements is provided between a fixed support member provided on part of a wall portion of this cylinder chamber and the floating plate. A second group of laminated, cylindrical, thin-plate piezoelectric elements is provided in the center of the first group and a working member is provided on the free end of the second group of elements that is not attached to the floating plate. A hydraulic chamber is formed in the cylinder chamber on the side of the floating plate opposite to the side on which the first and second groups of elements are provided, and the pressure in this hydraulic chamber pushes the floating plate in the direction of the fixed support member. Voltage is applied to the first and second groups of elements to expand and contract them thereby varying the distance between the floating plate and the fixed support member and varying the distance between the floating plate and the working member.

摘要： A rotary compressor includes a cylindrical-shaped housing, a rotor rotatably mounted in the housing and formed with diametrically extending slits, and a pair of movable vanes each slidably disposed in each of the slits with its opposite ends extending beyond the associated slit in abutting relation to the inner surface of the housing. The clearances between the movable vanes and the slits of the rotor are made larger about the central portion of the rotor than adjacent to the outer periphery thereof by making each of the vanes thinner about its central portion than at its opposite end portions or making each of the slits wider about the central portion of the rotor than adjacent to the outer periphery of the rotor. With the arrangement, shearing stresses caused by shearing of oil in the compressor can be suppressed to thereby reduce a loss in the torque of the compressor, and the maximum stress on the movable vanes can be limited below an allowable stress to improve the anti-breakage characteristics of the vanes.
