    摘要: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for recognizing biological named entity from biological literature based on united medical language system (UMLS). The apparatus and the method receives metathesaurus from the UMLS, constructs a concept name database, a single name database and a category keyterm database, which are language resources to be used recognize a named entity, receives each concept name stored in the concept name database, extracts features of each of the concept names by using data stored in the single name database and the category keyterm database, constructs a rule database by creating rules used to recognize the named entity and filtering the rules by using the extracted features, receives a biological literature, extracts nouns and noun phrases that are candidate named entities, applies the rules stored in the rule database to the nouns and the noun phrases, and recognizes the named entities. In the present invention, the biological named entities can be effectively extracted which can be used as important information individual in input literature.

A first step is preparing an x-ray image by radiographing a bone and a sawtooth-shaped rack together. A second step is attaining trabecular indexes from the x-ray image of the rack and the bone. And, a third step is calibrating the trabecular index of the bone with the trabecular index of the rack.

The microfluidic device includes guides disposed along both edges, a lower plate including a flow path defined between the guides, and a movable upper plate moved along the guides on the lower plate and having a length less than that the flow path. A fluid flow can be simply accurately controlled by adjusting a position of the movable upper plate. As a result, the fluid can sufficiently react in the detection part and the reaction part. Therefore, effective reaction and detection can be realized using only a small amount of fluid, thereby improving sensitivity. In addition, due to the improved sensitivity, a washing process for removing materials that are not consumed in the reaction can be omitted. Also, the movable upper plate can be manually moved using a user's finger.

The method includes coating a hollow core having a predetermined section and being long in a lengthwise direction with a coating solution, and solidifying the coating solution to form a coating layer, depositing a metal seed layer on the coating layer, plating the seed metal layer with a metal to form a plated layer, cutting the hollow core having the plated layer at an inclination angle with respect to the lengthwise direction for form a surface inclination, and removing the hollow core and the coating layer to form a hollow microneedle structure. Thus, the hollow microneedle structure can be manufactured to have such diameter, length, hardness, and inclination angle as to minimize pain. By use of the hollow core, the microneedle structure can have vertical microneedles with a uniform inner diameter.
