    摘要: A novel electrophotographic photoreceptor is disclosed, comprising an undercoating layer provided on an electrically conductive substrate having thereon a light-sensitive layer, wherein the undercoating layer is obtained by coating a solution of a composition comprising zirconium and silicon or a solution of a mixture of a zirconium acetyl acetonate compound and a silane coupling agent, the silicon content in the composition comprising zirconium and silicon is in the range of 5 to 35 mol % based on the total amount of zirconium and silicon, and the hardened undercoating layer obtained from the zirconium acetyl acetonate compound and silane coupling agent is a layer having a hardening degree of 1.2 or less.

    摘要: An igniter plug has a metallic shell, a front end of which has a tubular ground electrode. A hollow semiconductor tip is in the form of inversed frusto-cone shape, and placed within the tubular ground electrode. A tubular insulator is placed within the metallic shell to be in alignment with the semiconductor tip. A center electrode is placed within the insulator, a front end of the center electrode passing through the semiconductor tip to provide an annular discharge gap between the front end of the center electrode and that of the ground electrode. A low resistor layer provided on a front end surface of the semiconductor tip. An electrical resistance of the layer is determined to be smaller than that of the semiconductor tip, while a thickness of the layer is such that the layer precedes the semiconductor tip in forming a discharge path between the front end of the center electrode and that of the ground electrode only during a predetermined period after the igniter plug is initially operated.

The hydrogen generation device (600) of the present invention includes: an optical semiconductor electrode (620) including a conductor (621) and the NbON film (622) of the present invention disposed on the conductor (621); a counter electrode (630) connected electrically to the conductor (621); a water-containing electrolyte (640) disposed in contact with a surface of the NbON film (622) and a surface of the counter electrode (630); and a container (610) containing the optical semiconductor electrode (620), the counter electrode (630), and the electrolyte (640). In this device, hydrogen is generated by irradiating the NbON film (622) with light.

A ground potential of the controller 1 is set to a negative side potential or a positive side potential of a DC voltage that is supplied to the inverter 3. The voltage division circuit 2 detects the neutral point potential with reference to the negative side potential or the positive side potential. The controller 1 estimates the rotor position based on a difference between a first neutral point potential detected during the ON/OFF operation of the inverter 3 and a first fixed reference potential (⅔)Emax, and based on a difference between a second neutral point potential detected during the ON/OFF operation and a second fixed reference potential (⅓)Emax.
