摘要: The biometric authentication system of this invention includes user identification information product and authentication side system. The user identification information product acquires biometric information of user, encrypts the biometric information acquired using encryption key information provided by the authentication side system and provides encrypted biometric information to the authentication side system. Just after, the acquired biometric information is cleared up. The authentication side system stores reference encrypted biometric information and inherent encryption key when this reference encrypted biometric information is acquired, corresponding to the user identification information. At the time of authentication, encryption key information is created using at least the stored inherent encryption key and provided to the user identification information product, and then, an authentication result is formed by using the received encrypted biometric information and reference encrypted biometric information.

摘要: A local-memory side data transfer unit increments the number of addresses, reads out data from a local memory, and stores the data into a cache memory of a remote-memory side data transfer unit. For preventing data mismatching with the local memory from being stored into the cache memory, a cache clearing operation is executed in units of an elapse of a round trip time period for data transfer between the local memory and the remote memory. Alternatively, the cache clearing operation is executed upon receipt of a signal notifying data transfer of data stored at a specified address.

摘要: Systems and methods for improving the performance of a multiprocessor system by enabling a first processor to initiate the retrieval of data and the storage of the data in the cache memory of a second processor. One embodiment comprises a system having a plurality of processors coupled to a bus, where each processor has a corresponding cache memory. The processors are configured so that a first one of the processors can issue a preload command directing a target processor to load data into the target processor's cache memory. The preload command may be issued in response to a preload instruction in program code, or in response to an event. The first processor may include an explicit identifier of the target processor in the preload command, or the selection of the target processor may be left to another agent, such as an arbitrator coupled to the bus.

摘要: In an optical module, a package includes an array of first optical elements and at least one first positioning member. A microlens array plate including microlenses is fixed to the package, so that each of the microlenses corresponds to one of the first optical elements. An optical array connector mounts second optical elements thereon. The optical array connector has a light path bending portion for bending light paths of the second optical elements and at least one second positioning member. The optical array connector abuts against the package by aligning the second positioning member to the first positioning member so that each of the first optical elements corresponds to one of the second optical elements, A clamping member clamps the optical, array connector to the package.

摘要: Described herein is a powder blasting apparatus for abrasion treatments, which is capable of treating a number of works concurrently and progressively with blasts of a high pressure gas and fine powder mixture in an efficient manner to shorten the so-called tact time. The powder blasting apparatus is provided with a plural number of work tables 21 to 23 arrayed at uniform intervals in the longitudinal direction of the apparatus for reciprocating movements between first and second stop positions. Blast nozzles 38 to 40 are located between the first and second stop positions of the respective work tables to blast a mixture of high pressure compressed air and fine powder against a work on each one of the work tables simultaneously for an etching, boring or piercing treatment. Work transfer heads 48 and 49 are located in a position corresponding to the second stop position of a first one of two adjacently located work tables or the first stop position of the other or second work table to pick up a work on the first work table at the second stop position and place the work on the second work table at the first stop position, thereby successively transferring the work to a forwardly located work table while subjecting same progressively to abrasion treatments by the respective blast nozzles.

摘要: Any packet loss is detected very quickly by means of only a series of sequence number in a multi-path environment where a transmitter and a receiver are connected to each other by way of a plurality of networks when no inversion of sequence arises in any of the networks. A communication apparatus includes a plurality of sequence buffers arranged at each network to accumulate packets until a sequence acknowledgement and an absence detecting section adapted to determine the occurrence of an absence of a packet when one or more packets are accumulated in all the sequence buffers. With this arrangement, the absence detecting section of the receiver monitors the packets staying in the sequence guaranteeing buffer arranged in each of the network, paying attention to the characteristic that packets are stored in the sequence buffers of all the networks when a packet loss takes place.
