    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes at least two developing units containing two types of developing agents of different colors. This image forming apparatus is improved in the following points. i) The triboelectric charging amounts of the toner of the developing agents are reduced in the order of transfer. ii) The volume resistivities of the developing agents are reduced in the order of transfer. iii) The charging potentials of image carriers when electrostatic latent images corresponding to individual developing agents are formed are reduced in the order of transfer.

    摘要: A developing roller is opposed to a photosensitive drum on which a latent image is carried, and developer supplied to the latent image is held and fed by the developing roller. Developer is supplied from a feeding roller to the developing roller. A thickness defining blade is pressed against the feeding roller to press the feeding roller against the developing roller and form a developer layer of certain thickness on the feeding roller. A developing device thus arranged enables developer to be electrically charged without adding any stress to the developer, and a developer layer of certain thickness to be formed.

    摘要: A developing apparatus is provided with a developing roller for carrying a toner thereon and an elastic blade pressed against the surface of the developing roller to apply the toner thereto. The toner is thus applied to the surface of the developing roller by the elastic blade to form a thin layer of the toner on the surface of the developing roller. The thin layer is opposed to a photosensitive drum at a predetermined space to deposit the toner on an electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive drum. Magnets and magnetic particles are provided to prevent the toner from leaking out.
