    摘要: The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a polarizing lens, including conducting curved surface processing to change a shape of a polarizing film into a shape of a curved surface, conducting heat treatment by heating polarizing film that has been processed into a curved surface to a heating temperature of equal to or higher than 105° C. but less than 150° C., assembling an upper mold, a lower mold, and a seal member to provide a casting mold having a cavity within which the polarizing film following heating treatment is positioned, upper and lower molds being positioned opposite each other to sandwich the polarizing film at a space therebetween, and seal member sealing space between the upper and lower molds, casting a curable composition into the cavity, curing curable composition to provide a polarizing lens within which a polarizing film is positioned, and separating polarizing lens thus provided from casting mold.

The VCM includes at least one VCM magnet, a voice coil, and at least one flux guide. The voice coil is disposed in proximity to a magnetic pole of the VCM magnet. The flux guide is coupled to the voice coil; and, the flux guide is configured to reduce vibrations of the head when accessing data in the disk drive.

    摘要: Embodiments of the present invention relate disk drives, and in particular to realizing a positioning accuracy equal to that of an actuator having the mountable maximum number of suspensions, in an actuator having the smaller number of suspensions than the mountable maximum number. An embodiment of a magnetic disk device includes an actuator having an arm to which a suspension for applying a predetermined load onto a slider with a magnetic head is attached, and an arm to which a plate is attached instead of having the suspension. The plate attached to the arm in place of the suspension has a partially small section with respect to a section perpendicular to an arm longitudinal direction (constricted part), and the constricted part is located between a plate leading end and an arm attachment part.
