    摘要: Fingerprint images that are required for fake-finger determination can be acquired with a single input operation, and the user-friendliness and the determination accuracy of a fake-finger are improved. This device has moving means for moving a sensor surface, on which a finger as a determination object is placed, relatively to the finger, sensing means for acquiring fingerprint images of the finger before and after the sensor surface is moved, derivation means for obtaining a deformation level of the fingerprint before and after the sensor surface is moved based on two types of fingerprint images obtained by the sensing means, storage means for storing a deformation threshold related to the deformation level of the fingerprint to determine whether the finger on the sensor surface is a real finger or a fake-finger, and determination means for determining whether the finger placed on the sensor surface is a real finger or a fake-finger based on comparison results of the deformation level of the fingerprint obtained by the derivation means and the deformation threshold.

    摘要: An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive substrate; and a photosensitive layer provided on the conductive substrate and containing a resin binder that is a polycarbonate resin having structural units represented by General Formulae (1) and (2). The electrophotographic photoreceptor reduces the amount of wear and provides good images while maintaining a low frictional resistance on the surface of a photoreceptor drum from the beginning until after printing. A method for manufacturing such an electrophotographic photoreceptor includes applying a coating liquid containing at least such a resin binder onto a conductive substrate to thereby form a photosensitive layer. An electrophotographic device is disclosed that is equipped with such an electrophotographic photoreceptor.

    摘要: To provide an EGR cooler which has a small number of parts and achieves compact design with low cost. A plurality of flat tubes, each having a bottom to close an end thereof, is arranged in parallel. An opening of each of the flat tubes penetrates through a tube plate. Corrugated fins are placed in each of the flat tubes, thus forming a core. A casing encloses the outer circumferential surface of the core. The tube plate closes the opening of a tank body equipped with a partition. The edge of the partition is placed at an intermediate position in the width direction of the opening of the flat tube.

    摘要: An electrophotographic photoconductor includes an undercoat layer and a photosensitive layer sequentially provided on a conductive substrate. The undercoat layer is mainly composed of a resin and contains a metal oxide. The resin is provided by mixing and polymerizing raw materials of aromatic dicarboxylic acid in a range of 0.1 to 10 mol %, two or more types of dicarboxylic acid other than the aromatic dicarboxylic acid, two or more types of diamine, and at least one type of cyclic amide compound. The resin exhibits an acid value and a base value each of at most 6.0 KOH mg/g. Advantageously, generation of secondary aggregates in the undercoat layer, which result in image defects such as black spots and fogging on a white field, is suppressed.

And in the heat exchanger in which a cylindrical casing is fitted with the outer periphery of the core body, the comb-state member has its tooth base crossing perpendicularly with each of the comb tooth and a root of each comb tooth bent in the L-shape along the tooth base, the plane of the tooth base is brought into contact with a turned-up end edge, and each connection portion between the comb-state member and the core body is integrally brazed/fixed.
