摘要: A communication system includes communication devices; a switch device having coaxial terminal units to which the communication device are connected, a switch unit of entirely or individually connecting the coaxial terminal units, and a switch control unit of controlling the connection status of the switch unit; and a transmittal right control device. The transmittal right control device is connected to the terminal, and manages the connection status of the switch unit, receives from the communication devices requests for time for communication with other communication devices, determines assignment of time for communications between the communication devices, notifies the communication devices of the assignment, and instructs the switch control unit not to make signals interfere among the communication devices in different combinations for communications in the same time period.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to determine novel means of activating plants; more particularly, means or controlling plant growth, such as means of promoting growth, means of controlling dormancy, means of imparting tolerance against stress for plants (dryness, high or low temperatures, osmotic pressure, etc.), and means of preventing aging. The present inventors have found that the above object can be achieved by providing plant activators containing, as an active ingredient, C4-C24 ketol fatty acids, in particular, 9-hydroxy-10-oxo-12(Z),15(Z)-octadecadienoic acid.

摘要: A heat exchanger (1) on the secondary heat source, which exchanges heat with a heat exchanger (12) on the primary heat source in a primary cooling circuit (A), is connected with an indoor heat exchanger (3) through a gas pipe (6) and a liquid pipe (7), which are provided with solenoid valves (SV1, SV2), respectively. Only the solenoid valve (SV2) of the liquid pipe (7) is opened at the time of heat radiation of the heat exchanger (12) on the primary side and the liquid cooling medium is supplied from the heat exchanger (1) on the secondary side to the indoor heat exchanger (3) by the high vapor pressure of the cooling medium evaporated from the heat exchanger (1). Only the solenoid valve (SV1) of the gas pipe (6) is opened at the time of heat absorption of the heat exchanger (12) and the gas cooling medium is recovered from the indoor heat exchanger (3) to the heat exchanger (1) by the low vapor pressure of the cooling medium condensed by the heat exchanger (1).

摘要: This invention provides a capsule type retroreflective sheeting excelling in strength and longterm weatherability, the connecting walls, which partially connect the light-transmitting protective film and support film while retaining the spaces between the two films, being free of internal flaws such as deficiently filled portions and having uniform structure and shape. The capsule type retroreflective sheeting in which the connecting walls are formed by partially thermofusing and thermoforming the support film is characterized in that the support film is composed of a resin composition which contains a thermofusible rein and a crosslinking agent, said thermofusible resin having a shearing stress at 180.degree. C. within a range of 9.times.10.sup.3 .times.1.times.10.sup.5 dyne/cm.sup.2, and which can form a non-fusible crosslinked resin having a shearing stress at 180.degree. C. of at least 1.times.10.sup.6 dyne/cm.sup.2 after the crosslinkage.

摘要: The invention provides a communication network system which permits parallel access of a plurality of nodes to a transmission line and which has a high throughput and low delay, with fairness among the nodes maintained. In the communication network system, a plurality of tokens correspondingly associated with the nodes, respectively, are allowed to circulate on the transmission line. Each node is allowed to transmit data only when the frame insertion buffer is empty. The node, when having data to be transmitted, awaits the arrival of a token. If a token that has arrived corresponds to the self node, or if a node corresponding to the arrived token is downstream of the destination node as viewed from the own self node, the node forms a packet from its holding data and transmits it onto the transmission line.

摘要: A processing vessel suitable for use with a washing system intended to wash a plurality of wafers. The processing vessel includes a washing solution supply source, a circulation pump, a filter, a main vessel portion provided with inlets in the bottom thereof, a boat for holding the plurality of wafers in the center area of the main vessel portion and a flow control assembly arranged between the inlets and the wafers. The flow control assembly includes a scattering plate for scattering washing solution, which is introduced into the main vessel portion through the inlets, in the horizontal direction, and guiding passages through which the washing solution introduced through the inlets is made to have a substantially laminar flow and is guided into the center area of the main vessel portion. The guiding passages are formed by intervals between side plates and the scattering plate and by a plurality of apertures in the scattering plate. These guiding passages enable most of the washing solution to positively flow through spaces between the adjacent wafers. The flow control assembly also include a flow rate reducing section for reducing the amount of the washing solution which flows along the peripheral area of the wafers.
