Abstract: A system and method for providing charging options based on electric vehicle operator daily activities that include analyzing data associated with daily activities of an operator of an electric vehicle and determining at least one travel routine and at least one prospective travel plan that is completed by the operator of the electric vehicle based on the daily activities. The system and method also include determining a current geo-location of the electric vehicle. The system and method further include presenting an electric vehicle charging planner user interface that presents at least one prospective travel path to the at least one predicted point of interest.

The system and method additionally include modifying the at least one demand based charging schedule into a policy based charging schedule based on an acceptance of the OEM charging policy option by the at least one third party environmental entity. The system and method further include facilitating payment of a carbon credit payment from the at least one third party environmental entity to the OEM.

Abstract: A charging control method, performed by an electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), is provided. The method includes performing a charging session initiation procedure with an EV and calculating a session script hash associated with a charging session. A session access request is received from a user device and confirmed. Based on a result of the confirmation, session authentication is requested to the user device and a session script authentication value is received as a result of the session authentication from the user device. The method also includes determining whether to allow a user access to the charging session according to the session script authentication value.

Abstract: A vehicle management server includes: a communication device that acquires data including location information of a target vehicle through communication, the target vehicle being a vehicle not connected to the power grid out of vehicles; and a processor that sets a frequency of communication at which the data is acquired from the target vehicle. The processor acquires the data from the target vehicle. The processor predicts connection time from the acquired data according to a time prediction model and calculates confidence of the predicted connection time, the connection time being time when the target vehicle becomes connectable to the power grid, and the time prediction model being a model that predicts the connection time based on the data from the target vehicle. The processor sets the frequency of communication according to the confidence.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for controlling a charge transfer of an electric vehicle using an electric vehicle charging station, a mobile device, and a cloud server. The method includes receiving, at a mobile device, a message for an electric vehicle of a user from the electric vehicle charging station, wherein a user of the mobile device is associated with the electric vehicle to be charged. The method also includes receiving the charging control signal from the cloud server via the mobile device at the electric vehicle charging station in response to authorizing a charging control signal using identification information and credit account information received from the mobile device, wherein the charging control signal is configured to adjust a parameter used to draw electric power from the electric vehicle charging station.

Abstract: Described herein are techniques for providing authorization of vehicle charging requests in a manner that limits losses to unauthorized parties. Such techniques may comprise receiving, from a charging station, a request to access power resources, the request related to an electric vehicle in proximity of the charging station, providing, to the electric vehicle, a dynamic verification value to be used in authentication of the electric vehicle, and receiving, from the electric vehicle, a transformed version of the dynamic verification value generated by the electric vehicle. The techniques may further comprise independently generating, based at least in part on the dynamic verification value, an expected verification value, and determining whether to authorize the request based on a determination as to whether the transformed version of the dynamic verification value matches the expected verification value.
