Pressure control means (a computer (16)) operating the servo valve (11) has as a main loop a pressure control system for feedback-controlling the pressure in the isothermal pressure vessel (13) measured by a pressure gauge (14) and has therein a rate-of-inflow-control system for feedback-controlling the rate of flow measured by a flow meter (12), an observer for estimating the rate of outflow from the isothermal pressure vessel (13) according to the rate of inflow and the derivative of the pressure in the isothermal pressure vessel (13) measured by a pressure differentiator (15), and a model follow-up control system for feed-backing the estimated rate of outflow to the rate-of-inflow control system.

The present invention discloses a method and device for suppressing vibration of boom of concrete pump truck, in which the boom cylinder is connected with the vibration suppression cylinder; the information about hydraulic pressure in the boom cylinder and/or about changing of concrete pumping direction is monitored by a pressure sensing unit in real time; the monitored information about hydraulic pressure and/or about changing of concrete pumping direction is transmitted to the control unit for vibration suppression cylinder; the control unit for vibration suppression cylinder analyzes and processes the monitored information and adjusts the volumes of the rod side chamber and the non-rod side chamber in the vibration suppression cylinder such that the vibration suppression cylinder may generate a pulsed vibration and the pulsed vibration at the end of the boom is less than or equal to the vibration amplitude caused by the intermittent concrete supply at the end of the boom in amplitude, with a phase difference of 180° between the two vibrations. The vibration suppression method and device for boom of concrete pump truck according to the present invention may be simply configured, easily implemented and operated to effectively suppress the boom vibration.

An active vibration damping system having a supporting spring for addressing a static force from a payload, and an independent actively isolated damper positioned in parallel between a payload and a source of vibration for damping dynamic force from the payload to an actively isolated point. The actively isolated damper includes a small intermediate mass, distinct and decoupled from the payload mass, and a passive isolator element for dynamic coupling of the isolated platform to the small intermediate mass. The small intermediate mass provides a point to which dynamic forces from the payload may be dampened. The active damper also includes at least one actuator coupled at one surface to the small intermediate mass and coupled at a second surface to the vibrating base platform. A motion sensor may also be provided on the small intermediate mass so as to generate a feedback signal as a function of the movement of the small intermediate mass. The motion sensor together with a compensation/amplifier module and the actuator act as part of a feedback compensation loop for minimizing vibration.

An active damping system for damping the rotation of an object to an extent dependent upon the angular velocity of the object utilizes a feedback mechanism and provides a robust method for rotational damping. The active damping system comprises a torque controller, a speed measuring device connected to said torque controller for measuring a speed correlated with the rotation to be damped, and a torque generating device for producing the damping torque, which is controlled by the torque controller. Where the torque controller is a microprocessor, various defined relationships between the rotation to be damped and the damping torque can be programmed into the torque controller, which can also perform diagnostics on the active damping system. Both the programmability and the ability to perform diagnostics allow the active damping system to respond reproducibly over a range of environmental conditions.
