Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a separator for a secondary battery comprising a porous polymer substrate; a first layer formed on at least one surface of the porous polymer substrate, and comprising inorganic particles and a nonparticulate acrylic polymer having a glass transition temperature of 15° C. or less, wherein the nonparticulate acrylic polymer connects and fixes the inorganic particles; and a second layer formed on an upper surface of the first layer, and comprising a particulate acrylic polymer having a glass transition temperature of 20° C. to 50° C.
The separator for a secondary battery according to the present disclosure has good adhesion with electrode and can solve the resistance problem in the presence of the inorganic particles.-

Abstract: Provided is a technique that can obtain a wound electrode body simply and conveniently. One aspect of a battery herein disclosed is provided with a wound electrode body in which a positive electrode and a negative electrode are wound around in a predetermined winding direction around a winding axis via a separator. The battery includes a first separator and a second separator as the separator; the second separator includes a region positioned outward from an winding terminal edge of the first separator; the second separator includes an extending portion extending beyond a winding terminal edge of the first separator in the winding direction; a second adhesive is existed at least on a part of an inner surface of the extending portion; and the extending portion and a region positioned inward from the extending portion in the second separator are bonded via the second adhesive layer.

Abstract: Disclosed are a winding apparatus and a winding method, the winding apparatus includes: a winding needle, being configured to wind a winding material; a power supply assembly, being configured to be electrically coupled to the winding needle, so as to form current on an axis of the winding needle; and a magnet supply assembly, being configured to provide a magnetic field to the winding needle, a magnetic field direction intersecting the axis of the winding needle so that the winding needle generates an ampere force for resisting a deformation of the winding needle in the magnetic field when the winding material is wound. By the above method, the present application may reduce the deformation of the winding needle, reduce a defective rate of a winding product formed by the winding of the winding material, and improve quality of the winding product.

Abstract: According to the present disclosure, a technique capable of suppressing an internal short circuit caused by a peeled metal piece and obtaining a safer secondary battery is provided. An electrode plate (negative electrode plate) disclosed herein includes a negative electrode core including copper or a copper alloy, a negative electrode active material layer applied to a surface of the negative electrode core, and a negative electrode tab protruding to the outside from one end side in a width direction. In the negative electrode plate, a first region having an oxide film having a thickness of 40 nm to 200 nm is formed in a region of 0.01 mm to 0.2 mm from an outer end side of the negative electrode tab toward the inside in the width direction, and the first region 22t1 extends along the outer end side 22ta of the negative electrode tab 22t. As a result, a metal piece that can be peeled off from the negative electrode tab 22t can be insulated and inactivated in advance, so that an internal short circuit due to the peeled metal piece can be suppressed.
