Abstract: The present invention relates to composite particles containing silicon and carbon, wherein a domain size region of vacancies of 2 nm or less is 44% by volume or more and 70% by volume or less when volume distribution information of domain sizes obtained by fitting a small-angle X-ray scattering spectrum of the composite particles with a spherical model in a carbon-vacancy binary system is accumulated in ascending order, and a true density calculated by dry density measurement by a constant volume expansion method using helium gas is 1.80 g/cm3 or more and 2.20 g/cm3 or less.

Abstract: An all-solid secondary battery including a positive electrode layer including a positive current collector and a positive active material layer on one or more surfaces of the positive current collector is provided. The battery includes a negative electrode layer and a solid electrolyte layer between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer. The positive active material layer includes a composite electrolyte and a lithium-containing sulfide-based positive active material including Li2S and/or a Li2S— containing composite. The composite electrolyte includes a polymer, a lithium salt, and an ionic liquid having a saturated solubility of lithium polysulfide of 5 wt % or less at 25° C.

Abstract: A conductive material dispersed solution includes an acrylic dispersant containing an acrylic compound, a conductive material, and a dispersion medium. A solids content of the conductive material dispersed solution is 3% by weight or more, and a shear viscosity value of the conductive material dispersed solution measured at 25° C. and a shear rate of 1/s is 70 Pa·s or less. Provided is a conductive material dispersed solution, in which the conductive material is pre-dispersed to an excellent level through an acrylic dispersant to effectively improve dispersibility of the conductive material when added to the cathode slurry composition, and high solids characteristics of the cathode slurry and the like may be secured by suppressing aggregation between active material particles in the cathode slurry.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a secondary Zn—MnO2 battery comprises a battery housing, a MnO2 cathode, a Zn anode, and an electrolyte solution. The MnO2 cathode, the Zn anode, and the electrolyte solution are disposed within the battery housing, and the MnO2 cathode comprises a MnO2 cathode mixture and a current collector. The MnO2 cathode mixture is in electrical contact with at least a portion of an outer surface of the current collector, and the MnO2 cathode has a porosity of from about 5 vol. % to about 90 vol. %, based on the total volume of the MnO2 cathode mixture of the MnO2 cathode.

Abstract: The present technology relates to an ionic plastic crystal comprising at least one delocalized anion paired with at least one an organic guanidine, amidine or phosphazene organic superbase-derived cation for use in electrochemical applications, particularly in electrochemical accumulators such as batteries, electrochromic devices, and supercapacitors. The present technology also relates to an ionic plastic crystal composition, an ionic plastic crystal-based solid electrolyte composition, an ionic plastic crystal-based solid electrolyte, an electrode material comprising the ionic plastic crystal or the ionic plastic crystal composition. Their uses in electrochemical cells and electrochemical accumulators as well as their processes of manufacturing and an NHO-stabilized intermediary ion-neutral complex are also described.

Abstract: A secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolytic solution. The negative electrode includes first fiber parts, particle parts, and second fiber parts, and has voids. The second fiber parts have an average fiber diameter that is greater than or equal to 1 nm and less than or equal to 200 nm. The negative electrode has a void rate that is greater than or equal to 42 vol % and less than or equal to 73 vol %.
