摘要: An intraocular lens (IOL) having an optical axis extending in an anterior-posterior direction and an equator extending in a plane substantially perpendicular to the optical axis is described. The IOL includes: an elastic anterior face located anterior to the equator; a posterior face located posterior to the equator, wherein the anterior face, the posterior face, or both comprises a poly(dimethylsiloxane) elastomer having a durometer between about 20 Shore A to about 50 Shore A; and a chamber located between the anterior face and the posterior face comprising a silicone oil comprising polysiloxanes comprising diphenyl siloxane and dimethyl siloxane units, the silicone oil having a maximum viscosity of about 800 cSt at 25° C.

摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide a moisture-curable hot melt adhesive having high initial adhesive strength, long open time, excellent coating property and reduced stringing property. The present invention relates to a moisture-curable hot melt adhesive comprising (A) a urethane prepolymer having a terminal isocyanate group, (B) a metallocene-based polyolefin having a viscosity of 10,000 mPa·s or less at a temperature of 170° C. and (C) a polyester-polyether copolymer.

摘要: The present disclosure provides compositions and products formed therefrom. In particular, the disclosure provides elastomeric latex articles, such as gloves and condoms, that can be prepared utilizing a styrene-polyisoprene-styrene (SIS) latex. The elastomeric articles can exhibit desired tensile properties while being substantially or completely free of undesired components, such as sulfur and zinc oxide, which can be allergens. The disclosure further provides methods of preparing elastomeric latex articles.

摘要: The disclosure relates to elastomeric compositions having improved soft touch feel to skin, and in particular grip, especially during wet/humid conditions. In one embodiment, the compositions are part of a composite system, wherein the compositions are connected, for example bonded, molded, over-molded or co-extruded to a substrate, such as a thermoplastic, wood, glass or metal. The elastomeric composition comprises: (a) one or more copolymers present in an amount of 10 wt. % to 90 wt. %, selected from styrenic block copolymers and isoprene polymers; (b) one or more resins an amount of 2 wt. % to 20 wt. %; and optionally (c) at least one softener, filler, antioxidant or the like present in an amount up to 80 wt. %. The resin is selected from coumarone-indene resin, petroleum hydrocarbon resin, terpene based polymers, styrene-alpha-methyl-styrene resins, rosin derived resins, and mixtures thereof.

摘要: The present invention relates to a heat- and moisture-crosslinkable adhesive composition comprising: a) from 40 to 60 wt % of at least one polyurethane obtainable by a polyaddition reaction of at least one particular diisocyanate with at least one polyether diol, with or without the presence of at least one reaction catalyst, at a reaction temperature T1 below 95° C., in anhydrous conditions, and in amounts of diisocyanate(s) and of polyether diol(s) leading to an NCO/OH molar ratio in the range from 1.6 to 1.9; b) from 39 to 59 wt % of at least one compatible tackifying resin and c) from 0.01 to 1 wt % of at least one crosslinking catalyst. The present invention also relates to a method of preparing said adhesive composition, a self-adhesive support coated with the crosslinked adhesive composition and the use of said support for making labels and/or self-adhesive tapes.

The two types of polymers are each a styrene polymer having a group which bonds to at least one end of a main chain and which includes at least one of a hydroxy group, a carboxy group, a sulfanyl group, an epoxy group, a cyano group, a vinyl group or a carbonyl group. A difference in weight average molecular weight between the two types of polymers is no less than 2,000 and no greater than 30,000.
