摘要: A wrappable textile sleeve for protecting a conductive elongate member against at least one of EMI, RFI or ESD and method of construction thereof is provided. The sleeve includes a plurality of warp filaments and at least one weft filament woven with one another to form a woven substrate. The woven substrate has opposite sides extending lengthwise between opposite ends. The opposite sides are wrappable about a central longitudinal axis into overlapping relation with one another to circumferentially enclose the elongate member within a cavity of the sleeve. At least some of the warp filaments are provided as generally flat, thin conductive filaments shield the conductive elongate member against the effects of EMI, RFI and/or ESD.

摘要: Examples are disclosed herein that relate to electronically functional textile articles. One example provides a knitted textile article comprising a first conductive thread and a second conductive thread knit into the article in such a manner as to form a conductive junction separated by a gap. The knitted textile article further comprises a knitted surface texture feature formed at a location that defines an opening over the gap, and an electronic component connecting the gap to form a circuit with the first conductive thread and the second conductive thread.

摘要: An object of the invention is to provide a technique for even more firmly joining metal threads of a metal fabric together. A sheet member is formed from a metal fabric that is woven from metal warp threads and metal weft threads such that the metal warp threads and the metal weft threads alternately cross each other, the metal warp threads and the metal weft threads individually including a linear metal strand made of a metal and a coating portion that covers a circumference of the metal strand. The sheet member includes a welded portion where the coating portions of the metal warp threads and the coating portions of the metal weft threads are joined together at crossing portions of the metal warp threads and the metal weft threads.

摘要: An exemplary elongated elevator load bearing member includes a plurality of tension elements that extend along a length of the load bearing member. A plurality of weave fibers transverse to the tension elements are woven with the tension elements such that the weave fibers maintain a desired spacing and alignment of the tension elements relative to each other. The weave fibers at least partially cover the tension elements. The weave fibers are exposed and establish an exterior, traction surface of the load bearing member.
