    摘要: An oil ring for an internal combustion engine is provided that can prevent adhesion and deposition of oil sludge even during long-time operation of the engine, can thereby prevent the occurrence of sticking of the oil ring components to each other, and can maintain a good oil control function. At least part of the surface of the oil ring for an internal combustion engine is coated with a metal coating having a surface free energy of 40 mJ/m2 or less and a hydrogen bonding strength of 1.0 mJ/m2 or less. A coating of Ni, Cu, or an alloy containing Ni or Cu is used as the metal coating.

    摘要: A shock strut for an aircraft landing gear is disclosed. The shock strut may include a piston with a piston inner surface and a piston outer surface. A telescoping component may be coaxially aligned and slidably engagable with the piston. At least one of the piston and the telescoping component may be a titanium material. A groove defined by an upper lip and a lower lip may be coupled to at least one of the piston or the telescoping component. A piston ring may be in direct contact with the titanium material. The piston ring may be non-metallic and provide sliding engagement with the titanium material to seal a radial space between the piston and the telescoping component. The piston ring may be at least partially held within the groove, and the groove may limit axial movement of the piston ring.

    摘要: A piston ring for a reciprocating compressor is disclosed, including a one-part annular sealing ring with an arcuate outer surface and having a gap between butt ends of the sealing ring. A joint seal seals the gap symmetrical, having two limbs that extend at both sides in the peripheral direction over an angular range of 20° to 180° and having a radially outwardly directed, arcuate limb outer face. The joint seal includes a contact part that extends at both sides in the peripheral direction and projects beyond the limbs in the axial direction. The sealing ring and the joint seal are adapted to each other such that, when assembled, the joint seal rests laterally against the sealing ring via a stop and runs along the gap and covers same in the peripheral direction.

    摘要: The invention relates to a multilayer multi-element composite hard PVD coating with low friction coefficient on the surface of a piston ring, a piston ring and a preparation process. The present invention employs vacuum multi-arc ion plating vapor deposition process, which uses multiple multi-arc ion sources, in the combination of equipping with different single metal target material and multi-element target material to deposit multilayer multi-element composite hard PVD coating with low friction coefficient on the surface of a steel or cast iron piston ring. The coating consists of five layers with the total thickness of up to 60 μm. The coating has high adhesion with the surface of piston ring, high hardness, low friction coefficient and good abrasion resistance. By controlling the adding amount of additive elements Al, Mo, W, B, Si and Ti, the friction coefficient of the coating can be further reduced 5 to 20% compared with that of a single TiN or CrN deposited layer.
