    Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide various techniques for communication, collaboration, and resource sharing between television receivers operating at separate locations. In some embodiments, a television receiver device may be configured to identify and transmit various receiver data to other associated television receivers at separate physical locations. In order to transmit data from one receiver to another, the transmitting receiver device may establish a connection to an Internet Protocol (IP) network, contact a television provider server to obtain network addresses for one or more related receiver devices, and then transmit the data over the IP network to the related receiver devices. Additional aspects relate to identifying and sharing resources between associated television receivers operating at separate locations. For example, associated television receivers operating at separate locations may use IP network communication to coordinate collaboration and sharing of tuners, storage space, and/or other hardware and software components of the receivers.

    Abstract: Systems for aiding emergency responders are described. An exemplary system may include a primary device and a secondary device. The primary device may be configured to provide audio communication between the primary device and one or more of the plurality of secondary devices along a wireless communication path. The primary device may be configured to compress audio communication for transmission over a low bitrate band. The plurality of secondary devices may be configured as a network where each of the devices is configured to communicate with at least two other secondary devices. The secondary devices may also be configured to receive audio communication from the primary device and automatically transmit the received audio communication to one or more other of the secondary devices.

    Abstract: A system includes a media device including a processor programmed to receive sensor data indicating a field of view of a user and adjust a field of view of a video capture device in the media device to correspond to the field of view of the user. The processor receives media data from the video capture device and stores the media data, together with metadata including time indicia for each segment in the media data. The processor further receives user input to generate a media content item based on the media data. The user input specifies a start time of the media content item. The processor generates the media content item from the media data, starting with the segment of the media data having a time stamp corresponding to the start time; and stores the media content item.

    Abstract: Various embodiments provide an antenna hitch mount for securing an antenna, such as a satellite dish, to a vehicle. According to one embodiment, the hitch mount includes a hitch mounting portion, a plate, and an antenna mounting portion. The hitch mounting portion is configured to be inserted in to a hitch. The hitch mounting portion includes holes that are on opposite sides of the hitch mounting portion and are aligned with each other. The plate is used to couple the hitch mounting portion and the antenna mounting portion to each other. The antenna mounting portion is configured to support an antenna. Namely, an antenna is secured to the antenna mounting portion by a fastening device, such as a mast clamp.

The first electronic device can receive a request for data from a remote electronic device. The request for data can include pairing information, which can be used to confirm the remote electronic device as an approved paired device. The request for data can also include authentication information, which can be used to authenticate the request for data.     Abstract: Various embodiments of two-way communication devices and tracker devices are presented. Such a device may include a processing unit, comprising: a housing, one or more processors; a microphone, a speaker; and a first electrical connector for receiving power, wherein the one or more processors, the microphone, and the speaker are housed by the housing. Such a device may include a wristband that includes one or more integrated power sources that are permanently housed within the wristband. The one or more integrated power sources may have a second electrical connector to supply power to the processing unit when the processing unit is removably coupled with the wristband. The device may include a plurality of magnets to removably couple the processing unit with the wristband.
