The thin film depositing apparatus includes a deposition chamber through which a process gas outlet of a deposition source is arranged; a transfer shuttle disposed in the deposition chamber, the transfer shuttle comprising a mounting plate for loading a substrate, the transfer shuttle being reciprocal with respect to the process gas outlet; and at least one bendable auxiliary plate installed at one side of the transfer shuttle, the bendable auxiliary plate closing the process gas outlet when opposite the process gas outlet, the bendable auxiliary plate comprising a folding member for placing the bendable auxiliary plate in each of an unbent state and bent state dependent upon the position of the transfer shuttle.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for predicting video traffic are provided. The method includes extracting the statistical properties of previous Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG)-4 video traffic and predicting the size of a subsequent frame based on the statistical properties of the previous MPEG-4 video traffic. Therefore, it is possible to address such problems associated with traffic bursts as transmission delays or low throughputs and thus to improve the performance of communication and network systems that transmit video traffic.

Provided are a color to grayscale image conversion method of converting a color image into a grayscale image while maintaining original features of the color image, and a recording medium storing a program for performing the same. When an original color image is input, a target gradient with the features of the input original color image is acquired, and a global mapping function for converting the original color image into a grayscale image is determined based on the acquired target gradient. Thereafter, the original color image is converted into a grayscale image using the determined global mapping function. Therefore, it is possible to quickly convert a color image into a grayscale image, and to acquire a high-quality grayscale image with features of color difference included in the original color image.

Disclosed are a cleaning robot system and its method for controlling which make it possible to reliably and quickly clean with the aid of the cleaning robot. The cleaning robot system comprises at least one external device each formed of an indicator and a virtual wall setting function, with the aid of which cleaning work can be performed by the unit of blocks about a cleaning area reference point, not leaving non-cleaned area behind. Since the access of the cleaning robot can be restricted by means of a virtual wall set by an external device, any damages of furniture due to a collision of the cleaning robot can be prevented, and the cleaning robot can be barred from escaping from the set cleaning area.

The method includes: receiving a captured image from a photographing apparatus; selecting a predetermined region on the received image based on a user input; magnifying an image with respect to the selected, predetermined region; obtaining brightness information of the received image; displaying at least one of the magnified image and the obtained brightness information; and selecting the object on the magnified image based on the obtained brightness information. The method may further include: obtaining pixel information of the received image; and measuring the selected object based on the pixel information.
