    摘要: A process for the preparation of 3-bromo-4-fluoro-benzyl alcohol of the formula ##STR1## comprising reacting 3-bromo-4-fluoro-benzoic acid or a derivative thereof of the formula ##STR2## in which R is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl radical or an alkoxycarbonyl radical,with a complex hydride of the formulaM(M'H.sub.4)in whichM is lithium, sodium or potassium, andM' is boron or aluminum,at a temperature between about -20.degree. and +150.degree. C. When R is alkoxycarbonyl the starting material can be produced by reacting the corresponding free acid with a chloroformic acid ester. Compounds wherein R is alkyl or alkoxycarbonyl are new. The end product is a known intermediate for insecticides.

    摘要: A process for the monohalogenation of alkylbenzenes in the .alpha.-position is disclosed wherein an alkylbenzene reactant containing a hydrogen atom in the .alpha.-position is contacted with a halogen and the reaction mixture is withdrawn such that the amount of monohalogenated alkylbenzene formed is no greater than 33 mol percent in the reaction mixture. Also disclosed are novel monohalogenated alkylbenzenes of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.7 represents trifluoromethoxy, trifluoromethylthio or 2-perfluoropropyl or also, if R.sup.8 represents chlorine, represents trifluoromethyl and, furthermore, ifR.sup.8 and R.sup.9 represent trifluoromethyl, represents hydrogen,R.sup.8 represents hydrogen or also, if R.sup.7 represents trifluoromethyl or trifluoromethoxy, represent chlorine and also, if R.sup.7 represents hydrogen and R.sup.9 represents trifluoromethyl, denotes trifluoromethyl andR.sup.9 represents hydrogen and, if R.sup.7 represents hydrogen and R.sup.8 represents trifluoromethyl, denotes trifluoromethyl.

    摘要: Reactive dyestuffs are disclosed having the formula ##STR1## in which D is the radical of an organic nonanthraquinoid dyestuff; R is hydrogen or a lower alkyl; R.sub.1 is amino or substrated amino with substituents attached by a single bond, optionally etherified hydroxy, optionally etherified mercapto or an optionally substituted hydrocarbon radical; Q is an alkylene, aralkylene, arylene, --CO-- or --SO-- which is directly linked to a carbon atom of the ring of the dyestuff D; n is the number 0 or 1 and F is a fluoro substituent. The group --N(R) is directly linked to a carbon atom of the triazine ring and on the other side, the group --N(R) is linked to a carbon atom of the ring of the dyestuff D either directly (if n = 0) or (if n = 1) via one of the bridge members mentioned above. These dyestuffs are primarily suitable for dyeing of textile materials containing hydroxyl or nitrogen such as natural and regenerated cellulose, wood silk, polyamide and polyurethane. The fastness properties, particularly wet fastness, are excellent.
