    摘要: A bipolar battery includes: a power generation element formed by stacking a plurality of bipolar electrodes, in which an electrode layer is formed on a front and a rear of a collector, via an electrolyte layer; an elastic metal portion provided in contact with the power generation element so as to contact the power generation element in point or line contact when no external force is exerted thereon and contact the power generation element in surface contact when external force is exerted thereon; and an outer covering material provided to accommodate the power generation element and the elastic metal portion, an internal air pressure of which is set to be lower than an atmospheric pressure such that the elastic metal portion is caused to contact the power generation element in surface contact by a pressure difference between the internal air pressure and the atmospheric pressure.

    摘要: The invention relates to fuel cells and methods of making bipolar fuel cell electrodes. The invention provides a method of producing bipolar fuel cell electrodes, including providing a collector having a first side and a second side opposite the first side, coating the first side with a first active material, coating the second side with a second active material, and compressing the coated collector to form a bipolar cell electrode. The invention also provides a method of producing bipolar fuel cell electrodes wherein the first side of the collector is first coated with the first active material and compressed at a first pressure, and subsequently the second side of the collector is coated with the second active material and compressed at a second pressure. The invention further provides an improved bipolar electrode for fuel cells.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing a battery is provided including the step of locating a plurality of unit cells in a support body having an opening portion. A plurality of jigs each having a convex portion and a bore are mounted at the support body so as to cause the convex portion to be fit into the opening portion of the support body. A spacing between the support body and the plurality of the unit cells is filled with a plastic resin by charging the plastic resin into the spacing between the support body and the plurality of unit cells through the bore of one jig of the plurality of jigs, while releasing air inside the support body through the bore of another jig of the plurality of jigs that is opposite to the one jig.

    摘要: A secondary cell module and the method of its production, which comprises a combination cell formed by connecting the positive and/or the negative electrode terminal(s) of multiple secondary cells in series and/or in parallel with each other through a metal bus-bar and a casing which contains the combination cell, wherein the secondary cell is formed in a sheet shape and comprises sheet-type internal electrode couple, electrolytic solution and a flexible outer wrapper of envelope type which contains them in a sealed state. The secondary cell module is of a simple structure and it can be small-sized and light-weighted or thin-shaped as necessary and the heat which generates inside the cell can be efficiently diffused to outside, thereby enabling the production of cells of high capacity with a high degree of freedom in designing its shape as well as supreme productivity.
