摘要: A sheet film package includes a tray for storing a stack of sheet films and a flexible cover member peelably attached to the tray in covering relation to a film access opening for shielding the sheet films in the tray from extraneous light. The cover member is folded back on itself at one end of the tray and has an end portion which extends over the other end of the tray and which will be exposed from a loading device when the sheet film package is loaded in the loading device. The sheet film package may have a cushioning member disposed in the tray and composed of hollow air bags of a flexible material for pressing the holding the sheet films in the package member. A film loading device for loading the sheet film package therein include a light-shielding member for preventing extraneous light from entering a loading slot. The loading slot is closed by a pivotally mounted cover with the end portion of the cover member being led out of the loading slot. The light-shielding member may comprise a roller for pressing the cover member against an engaging portion of the sheet film package or the cover, or may comprise light-shielding blocks mounted on the cover and a frame of the device, respectively, for gripping the cover member therebetween.

摘要: A temperature controller includes a block-shaped heat sink in which a plurality of semiconductor devices to be controlled are mounted, a temperature sensor mounted in the heat sink, and a temperature controlling element mounted on the heat sink. The temperature sensor detects the temperature of the semiconductor devices through the heat sink, and the temperature controlling element responds to an output signal from the temperature sensor for controlling the temperature of the semiconductor devices through the heat sink so that the temperature will be substantially constant. Therefore, the semiconductor devices can be simultaneously controlled in temperature through the single temperature sensor and the single temperature controlling element.

摘要: The transparent conductive layer-built-up material based on the present invention, since it is of the construction that, in a transparent conductive layer-built-up material comprising a base having thereon at least a transparent conductive layer comprised principally of an oxidized product, the transparent conductive layer has on the obverse side thereof a metal or a surface layer containing a metal oxide whose oxidation rate is lower than the intrinsic oxidation rate of the transparent conductive layer, exhibits a high adhesive strength when made adhere to, e.g., the luminescent light-emitting layer of a luminescent display unit and adequately satisfactory sheet resistance and light-transmissivity values, thus showing very excellent characteristics as of a transparent conductive layer-built-up material. Accordingly, if the transparent conductive layer-built-up material based on this invention is used as the transparent conductive layer-built-up material for, e.g., an electroluminescent display unit, the displayed pattern is excellent in the luminance as well as in the contrast, and thus a clear image can be obtained.

摘要: A transcutaneous gas sensor for application to the skin of a patient for bloodless measurement of a partial gas pressure comprises a separable sensing cell and a circumferential heater, the heater being in direct thermal contact with the skin of the patient but not in contact with the permeable sensing face of the sensor cell. A differential temperature measuring thermocouple is utilized to monitor the temperature of the patient's skin and the temperature of the heater to provide a warning of a decrease in local perfusion in the area of the sensing cell.

摘要: A front-loaded cassette tape deck which moves the cassette a greater relative distance than the distance travelled by the table. A table is normally in the fully projected position because the force provided by a pair of springs is greater than the frictional forces and the damping forces provided by damping pulleys. A cassette is placed in a slider and is held therein by a leaf spring. As the table is moved towards the closed position, the slider is moved by cords and pulleys at a faster rate than the table. Thus, the slider is moved relative to the table. The greater travel of the slider causes it to be moved within a holder by the sliding engagement of a plurality of guide members. During this time, the holder is at an upper position. When the table reaches the closed position, the slider is fully disposed within the holder. The holder with the slider then automatically rotates to a lower position, which puts the cassette into operational engagement with a cassette driving section. The holder remains in the lower position until an eject lever is depressed, which causes the holder with the slider to be moved back to the upper position. The table then automatically returns to the fully projected position because the force provided by a pair of springs is greater than the frictional forces and the damping forces provided by the damping pulleys. As the table moves towards the fully projected position, the slider is moved out of sliding engagement with the holder and into sliding engagement with the table due to the relative movement of the slider with respect to the table provided by the cords and pulleys.
