    摘要: A cervical immobilizing device includes a pair of arms that can be folded to an upright position to engage and support a patient's head, an actuating device for folding the arms to the supporting position, and a locking device for locking the position of the arms in the folded supporting position. The actuating device is coupled to the outer ends of the arms for folding the arms to an upright position symmetrically and uniformly. In one embodiment, the actuator device is a flexible member that passes around a guide to a position and gripped by the user. The locking device can be a clinching, ratcheting or clamping device, or a combination thereof, on the actuator device. In one embodiment, the folding arms include a coupling device for coupling the arms to a base in a sliding arrangement to enable the arms to slide along the base to a folded position.

    摘要: Unconventional extended length golf clubs disclosed herein, designed for idealized pendulum swinging, enable the golfer to decrease unwanted movement during the golfer's putting or putting-like strokes by increasing the number of “lock “points with the club. The top of the club is held in an anchor position. However, in sharp contrast with conventional logic and club design, the clubs of this invention are designed for movement of the remaining club shaft (and hence the club head face) forward in the intended initial direction of ball movement by pulling the club (rather than pushing the club). The club design provides the golfer with at least three points of firm contact (lock points) between the club and the golfer's power hand and arm as the golfer pulls the club forward to engage the ball.

    摘要: A tracheal tube holding and stabilizing device includes a support having an open slot for receiving a tracheal tube. A pivotally mounted jaw is coupled to the support to close the slot and clamp the tracheal tube in position. The support includes a flexible arm having ratcheting teeth for engaging complementing ratcheting teeth on an outer end of the jaw. The jaw includes an open slot on one side to receive the tracheal tube in the clamping position. In this manner, the tracheal tube is securely clamped in the slot of the support and the slot in the pivotable jaw.
