    摘要: A retroreflective sheet capable of exhibiting an excellent decorative effect during both daytime and nighttime, and particularly an excellent rainbow-colored decorative effect. The sheet comprises, in order, a binder in the back side of which a plurality of microspheres, arranged in a monolayer, are partially embedded, a focusing layer underlying some of the microspheres, and a reflective layer underlying the focusing layer and underlying microspheres which do not have a focusing layer therebehind. The focusing layer has a film thickness selection coefficient x in the range of 0.16 to 0.95 as defined by equation (II) of the following equations (I) and (II): ##EQU1## wherein f is the coefficient for the optimum layer thickness of the layer, d is the diameter of the microspheres, h is the thickness of the focusing layer, n.sub.b is the refractive index of the binder layer, n.sub.g is the refractive index of the microspheres, and n.sub.s is the refractive index of the focusing layer.

    摘要: A pressure switch includes a switch housing which has an accommodation bore extending inward from one end of the switch housing, and a slide bore extending between the accommodation bore and the other end of the switch housing. A piston is slidably disposed within the slide bore and is adapted to receive a pressure. A terminal serving as one electric contact is fixed to the accommodation bore via a holding ring made of an insulating material. A disk spring serving as the other electric contact is disposed between the piston and the terminal. The disk spring deforms due to a pressing force of the piston and comes in contact with the terminal. The pressure switch further comprises an annular elastic ring placed on the outer end of the holding ring. An end portion of the switch housing is deformed inward so as to elastically deform the elastic ring, thereby sealing the opening portion of the accommodation bore. The switch housing has a cylindrical portion which has a cylindrical outer shape and into which the holding ring is press-fit, a threaded portion for attachment of the switch housing, and a polygonal tightening portion which is formed between the cylindrical portion and the threaded portion and is used to tighten the switch housing.

    摘要: A control apparatus for a power-assisted steering system includes a first sensor arranged to produce output signals respectively indicative of rotary angle and rotational speed of a steering shaft, a second sensor arranged to produce an output signal indicative of the vehicle speed, a first control valve arranged to control the quantity of fluid under pressure supplied through a servo valve into a hydraulic power cylinder from a hydraulic pressure source, a second control valve disposed within a bypass passage for providing bypass flow of fluid passing therethrough from the pressure source to a reservoir, and an electric control apparatus arranged to activate the first control valve in response to the output signals from the sensors in such a manner that the quantity of fluid under pressure supplied into the power cylinder is decreased in accordance with increase of the vehicle speed and increased in accordance with increase of the rotational speed of the steering shaft and being further arranged to activate the second control valve in response to the output signals from the second sensor in such a manner that the opening degree of the second control valve is increased in accordance with increase of the rotary angle of the steering shaft and decreased in accordance with increase of the rotational speed of the steering shaft.

    摘要: A vane type pump with a variable capacity for power steering devices is provided with a movable ring received and radially movable in a closed cylindrical bore of a pump housing. A spring acts on the movable ring to deflect the axis of the movable ring from the axis of a rotor, which is rotated to move vanes along an internal bore of the movable ring. A sealing pin and a valve element are provided at diametrically opposite sides of the movable ring and define first and second pressure chambers around the movable ring. The first pressure chamber receives pressurized fluid from a part of the internal bore of the movable ring and conducts the pressurized fluid into the second pressure chamber through a throttle, which is defined by the valve element and a part of a circumferential external surface of the movable ring. The throttle generates a pressure difference between the first and second pressure chambers, and the pressure difference acts on the movable ring to move the same against the force of the spring. The pump is further provided with a solenoid operated actuator for adjusting the position of the valve element, and a relief valve.
