摘要: An LCD device is discussed, which comprises first and second substrates confronting each other; a liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates; and red, green, blue, and fourth color filters on the first substrate; wherein the fourth color filter is formed of any color whose transparency is better than that of at least one of the red, green, and blue color filters, and wherein an effective area of the fourth color filter is smaller than that of at least one of the red, green, and blue color filters. The LCD device can display white color with good transparency by properly adjusting the effective areas of the four color filters, whereby there is no need to modulate light for display of the white color in a backlight unit, to thereby improve luminance of light emitted from the backlight unit.

摘要: Residual charge in a battery is measured based on a discharge voltage from the battery. A device for measuring the residual charge in the battery includes a fluctuation width amplifier configured to amplify a fluctuation width of a discharge voltage from the battery in excess of a threshold voltage. The device includes a display module configured to display the discharge voltage amplified by the fluctuation width amplifier. The discharge voltage amplified by the fluctuation width amplifier corresponds to the residual charge in the battery. The residual charge in the battery may be determined based on the discharge voltage and the application load data due to an operative application program.

摘要: The invention provides a dual band transmitter available for a mobile communication terminal such as mobile phone, in which a first RF amplifier 111 amplifies the power of a high band signal BS1 at a first amplification factor that is determined according to a first bias voltage. A second RF amplifier 121 amplifies the power of a low band signal BS2 at a second amplification factor determined according to a second bias voltage. A first coupling capacitor C11 couples an output signal from the first RF amplifier 111. A second coupling capacitor C21 couples an output signal from the second RF amplifier 121. A filtering coupler 140 has a high pass filter FT1 for a first coupled signal from the first coupling capacitor C11 and a low pass filter FT2 for a second coupled signal from the second coupling capacitor C21. A power amplifier controller 150 compares the magnitudes of filtered signals from the filtering coupler 140 with preset reference values to obtain difference values, and adjusts the bias voltages of the first and second RF amplifiers 111 and 121 based upon the difference values to control the first and second amplification factors.

摘要: The present invention relates to a collision avoidance system based on the detection of obstacles in the blind spots of a vehicle. The collision avoidance system includes turn signal lamp detection means for detecting whether a turn signal lamp of the vehicle is turned on. CCD camera means captures an image for a road environment, and outputs the captured image as road environment data, thus determining whether a current road environment indicates a winding road. Steering angle detection means detects a steering angle of the vehicle and outputs a resulting signal as a steering angle signal. Infrared sensor means transmits or receives infrared light to or from an obstacle present in the blind spot of the vehicle according to the steering angle signal, and outputs an obstacle detection signal. Warning means is configured to provide a warning of possibility of a collision between the obstacle and the vehicle to a driver. Control means automatically drives the warning means when the obstacle detection signal for the blind spot is received from the infrared sensor means in a case where a turn signal lamp is determined to be turned on by the turn signal lamp detection means, or where a lane change is determined to be performed by receiving the road environment data from the CCD camera means and the steering angle signal measured by the steering angle detection means.

摘要: A region searcher, a method of driving the same, and a code searcher using the same are disclosed. When a predetermined region is iteratively searched, the energy value corresponding to the same hypothesis location value is stored by using a searcher having divided two buffers, thereby the implementation complexity thereof can be remarkably reduced, without using a simple memory. In addition, in case where the region is iteratively searched in the state of the deteriorated signal-to-noise ratio to find the energy value at one hypothesis location and in case where the region must be iteratively searched because of the restriction which the size of the matched filter can be not increased, the implementation complexity thereof can be remarkably reduced.
