摘要： The current method and apparatus provides a novel approach to manage the power consumption of a high speed I/O interface by selectively turning off non-essential portions of the interface. Here only part of the interface is powered off as compared to the whole interface being turned off. From the upper layers (protocol/system) perspective, the interface is always “on”. Thus, this mechanism reduces link power by selectively turning off portions of the link, yet allowing for fast wake up in an interface power management architecture.

The material is formed by depositing a layer onto a substrate, said layer comprising a reactive organosilicate material, a porogen, an initiator, and a solvent; exposing portions of the layer to energy (e.g., thermal energy or electromagnetic radiation) to change the solubility of portions of the organosilicate material with respect to the solvent; selectively removing more soluble portions of the layer to generate a relief pattern; and decomposing the porogen to thereby generate a nanoporous organosilicate layer.

A recipient is selected to receive the object. One or more signals are sent to a network server coupled with the network, the one or more signals requesting the network server to share the object with the recipient. From the network server, in response to receiving the one or more signals, the object is identified. The object is then sent to the recipient.

摘要： A writing instrument is disclosed having a display flag attached to an internal pen holder such that the flag may be displayed either by pulling it laterally through any elongated opening in an external pen holder, or by axially extending the internal pen holder from the external pen holder. A positioning block attached to the internal pen holder limits the relatively axial sliding movement between the internal and external pen holders to prevent the user from completely pulling the internal pen holder from the external pen holder. The writing instrument may also be placed in a base such that the flag may be displayed while the base rests on a desk, table, or the like.
