摘要： An electric steering device is provided which enables a stable steering correction operation expected by a driver. An electric power steering device having a motor, which is controlled by a control device based on steering torque and generates steering assist force, further includes operation switches which are provided at a steering wheel and which output electric signals based on an operation given by a driver, and an additional current computing unit that calculates and outputs an additional current value waveform for adding a current for driving the motor in accordance with the electric signals from the operation switches. The additional current computing unit generates and outputs the current waveform of a predetermined additional current value in accordance with the driving condition information on a vehicle in response to an operation to the operation switch regardless of the time length of the ON state of the operation switches.

摘要： A steering apparatus for a vehicle is provided in which since a steering wheel (12) is provided with a switch (20L, 20R) that outputs an electrical signal in response to an operation by a driver's finger, and a vehicle wheel (W) is turned by operating a steering actuator (17) according to an electrical signal outputted by the switch (20L, 20R), a turning angle of the vehicle wheel (W) can be freely increased and decreased matching the driver's intention merely by operating the switch (20L, 20R) without changing the hold on the steering wheel (12) in a state in which the steering wheel (12) is operated and the vehicle wheel (W) is turned. Moreover, since the switch (20L, 20R) is housed in a recess (12b) formed on a surface of a rim portion (12a) of the steering wheel (12) without projecting from the surface thereof, it is possible to reliably prevent the switch (20L, 20R) from being erroneously operated against a driver's intention during operation of the steering wheel (12).

摘要： A vehicle seat cushion structure whereby even when a steering wheel or other object is pushed closer toward a vehicle occupant after a vehicle is involved in a head-on collision and little space is left in front of the vehicle occupant, the space can be readily enlarged. The cushion structure comprises a supporting member provided on a seat frame and a cushion member disposed in a folded state on the supporting member. The folded cushion member is capable of being withdrawn from a cushion removal opening formed on a side of a seat. Space is provided between the vehicle occupant and the steering wheel or the like when the cushion member is removed via the cushion removal opening.

摘要： A conventional keyless entry system uses a radio wave as an unlocking or locking signal and is therefore substantially non-directional. For example, when an unlocking operation is performed, keys of all doors are unlocked, so that for example in a vehicle having a certain slide door or a kick-up door, an occupant of the vehicle may forget to lock the door. According to the presently disclosed subject matter a keyless entry system for locking and unlocking lock(s) of a vehicle can include an infrared light projector having a narrow radiation angle, and a light receiving/emitting unit corresponding to operating conditions of keys/locks. The light receiving/emitting unit can include a combination of a light receiving element for receiving the infrared light and a light emitting element for indicating the position of a key/lock which is operated correspondingly to the infrared light received by the light receiving element. Thus, among other features, locking and unlocking of only a requested door by means of the narrow radiation angle can be accomplished.
