摘要: Disclosed is a polypropylene resin composition which is superior in mechanical strength and affords molded articles having good appearance which comprises (A) a crystalline polypropylene, (B) a polypropylene modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or an acid anhydride thereof, and (C) a zinc oxide whiskers. When the composition additionally contains an inorganic filler such as glass fibers, molded articles further improved in appearance can be obtained. The zinc oxide whiskers preferably have a tetrapod type crystal structure.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a thermoplastic resin composition which comprises:(a) a polyphenylene ether resin or a polyphenylene ether-containing resin composition,(b) a polypropylene grafted with a styrene-based monomer and/or a propylene copolymer grafted with a styrene-based monomer,(c) an ethylene-.alpha.-olefin copolymer grafted with a styrene-based monomer, said ethylene-.alpha.-olefin copolymer having a density of 0.85-0.91 g/cm.sup.3 and a maximum melting peak temperature of 100.degree. C. and above measured with a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and(d) optionally, rubbery substance. Also disclosed herein is a process for producing a thermoplastic resin composition which comprises incorporating a preblend composed of:(a') a polyphenylene ether resin or a polyphenylene ether-containing resin composition,(b') a polypropylene and/or a propylene copolymer,(c') an ethylene-.alpha.-olefin copolymer having a density of 0.85-0.91 g/cm.sup.3 and a maximum melting peak temperature of 100.degree. C. and above measured with a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and(d') optionally, a rubbery substancewith a styrene-based monomer and an organic peroxide, followed by kneading with heating. The thermoplastic resin composition has good moldability and yields molded articles having well-balanced physical properties.

摘要: A polypropylene multi-layer film which comprises a substrate layer formed of crystalline polypropylene and a composition laminated on at least one side of said substrate layer, said composition comprising 70 to 95% by weight of (A) a crystalline propylene-ethylene copolymer having an ethylene content of 1.5 to 6.0% by weight and/or a crystalline propylene-.alpha.-olefin copolymer having a propylene content of 80 to 98% by weight, a butene-1 content of 2 to 20% by weight, and an ethylene content of 0 to 5% by weight, and 5 to 30% by weight of (B) a crystalline propylene-butene-1 copolymer which is a copolymer obtained by decomposing a crystalline propylene-butene-1 copolymer having a butene-1 content of 25 to 45% by weight, an intrinsic viscosity of 2.5 dl/g or more as determined in tetralin at 135.degree. C., and a proportion of 35% by weight or more of a polymer component soluble in xylene at 20.degree. C., and containing 1.5% by weight or less of a polymer component having a molecular weight calculated in terms of polystyrene of 10,000 or less as determined by GPC.

摘要: A method for the preparation of a graft polymer membrane comprising an inactive polymer film having TFS as a graft chain. The inactive polymer film is irradiated with ionizing radiation, and the resulting irradiated film is graft-polymerized by contacting said film with TFS.This product may then be sulfonated to provide a cation exchange membrane; or the obtained graft polymer may be haloalkylated, and quarternary aminated to provide an anion exchange membrane; or the graft polymer membrane may be used to prepare a weakly acidic cation exchange membrane by substituting at least part of the benzene rings of the graft polymer by one of the groups among hydroxyl groups, carboxylic acid groups, phosphoric acid groups and phosphorous acid groups.The polymeric membrane products are also disclosed and claimed.

摘要: A process is, herein, disclosed for electrolysis or pure water in an electrolytic cell which is divided into an anode compartment and a cathode compartment by a cation exchange membrane and in which pure water is supplied to the anode compartment for electrolysis to generate oxygen in the anode compartment and hydrogen in the cathode compartment, said cation exchange membrane being produced by grafting a fluorovinyl sulfonic acid monomer onto a membranous polymeric substrate having a monomer unit of the formula: ##STR1## (wherein X is hydrogen, fluorine or CH.sub.3 ; and Y is hydrogen or fluorine), said cation exchange membrane being used in close contact with an anode and a cathode.

摘要: In a method for producing olefin polymers which comprises polymerizing ethylene monomer alone, or two components comprising ethylene and .alpha.-olefins of the formula, CH.sub.2 .dbd.CHR (in which R is a straight or branched alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms), or three components comprising ethylene, said .alpha.-olefin and one or more of straight or cyclic diene or polyene monomers having a non-conjugated double bond, in the presence of a catalyst, the improvement which comprises using a catalyst system comprising (1) an organo-aluminum compoum, (2) a 3- to 5-valent vanadium compound soluble in organic inert solvents, and (3) (A) a compound of the formula, ##STR1## (in which R' is a group having a straight or cyclic ether linkage, and X is a halogen atom), or (B) a reaction product of phosphorus pentachloride with an alcohol as an activating agent.

摘要: A balloon ablation catheter achieves reduction in diameter of the balloon upon balloon contraction and increased reliability of the thermocouple temperature sensor, which balloon ablation catheter is less likely to be influenced by the heating liquid discharged into the balloon and able to control the balloon surface temperature with high accuracy. The balloon ablation catheter includes a shaft wherein a lumen is formed; a balloon wherein the lumen communicates with the inside thereof; and a high-frequency-current-applying electrode formed by coiling a high-frequency-power-supplying lead wire around the shaft while sandwiching a temperature sensor lead wire between the high-frequency-power-supplying lead wire and the shaft such that the temperature sensor lead wire is fixed along the longitudinal direction of the shaft; wherein a thermocouple thermosensor is formed at the point where the high-frequency-power-supplying lead wire and the temperature sensor lead wire constituting the high-frequency-current-applying electrode contact with each other for the first time as seen from the posterior end side in the longitudinal direction.

The catheter includes a shaft having electric potential-measuring electrodes, a metal portion with a length of 2 mm or more, and a lumen passing therethrough from a proximal end to a distal end in the longitudinal direction; and a metal wire inserted through the lumen and connected to the metal portion.
