    摘要: Disclosed is a thermoplastic resin composition, comprising:(a) a polyphenylene ether resin or a resin composition containing a polyphenylene ether,(b) (i) a modified propylene polymer obtainable by grafting a propylene polymer with a styrene-based monomer or a mixture of a styrene-based monomer and a monomer copolymerizable with the styrene-based monomer or (ii) a composition containing said modified propylene polymer and a propylene polymer, and(c) two or more rubbery substances, at least one rubbery substance being compatible with the component (a), and at least one rubbery substance being not compatible with the component (a). The thermoplastic resin composition has good moldability and yields molded articles having well-balanced physical properties.

    摘要: A liquid crystal polyester resin composition film made of a liquid crystal polyester resin composition comprising (A) 56 through 99% by weight of a liquid crystal polyester and (B) 44 through 1% by weight of a thermoplastic resin having an epoxy group and molded with uniaxial orientation, with biaxial orientation, by blown film extrusion or by laminating. The above liquid crystal polyester resin composition has an improved behavior in molten state which has been extraordinary in and drawback of the conventional liquid crystal polyesters and is easily molded into a film with excellent mechanical strength heat resistance and gas-barrier properties.

    摘要: The present invention provides a laminated material comprising a paper as a substrate, which is superior in heat resistance and gas barrier properties, and a paper pack container formed from said laminated material. Disclosed is a laminated material comprising at least a paper layer as a substrate and a layer of a liquid crystal polyester resin composition containing 56 to 99% by weight of a liquid crystal polyester (A) and 44 to 1% by weight of an epoxy group-containing ethylene copolymer consisting of the following components: (a) 50 to 99.9% by weight of an ethylene unit; (b) 0.1 to 30% by weight of an unsaturated carboxylic acid glycidyl ester unit or an unsaturated glycidyl ether unit; and (c) 0 to 49.9% by weight of an ethylenically unsaturated ester compound, the paper layer and the layer of the liquid polyester resin composition being laminated each other. A paper pack container formed from said laminated material is also disclosed.

    摘要: A thermoplastic resin composition containing (A) 100 parts by weight of at least one modified polyphenylene ether selected from the group consisting of (A1) a modified polyphenylene ether having repeating units of the formula (1): ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are, independently from each other, a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms and having a number average polymerization degree of 20 to 1200, in which 0.02/X to 1/X of methyl groups at the 2- and/or 6-positions of phenylene group are modified to an aminomethyl group in which X is a number average polymerization degree and (A2) a modified polyphenylene ether comprising polyphenylene ether to which an amino group-containing monomer is graft polymerized, and (B) 0.1 to 70 parts by weight of an epoxy group-containing ethylene copolymer comprising (a) 50 to 99% by weight of ethylene units, (b) 0.1 to 30% by weight of unsaturated carboxylic acid diglycidyl ester units or unsaturated glycidyl ether units and (c) 0 to 50% by weight of ethylenically unsaturated ester compound units, which composition has improved molding processability and impact resistance.
