    摘要: A leg device that is capable of simultaneously releasing three extendible/contractible legs from a locked state with a single action is provided. A tripod, which is a leg device, has a base. A tripod head is attached to a tripod head attaching portion of the base. A middle extendible/contractible leg, a one-side extendible/contractible leg, and an opposite-side extendible/contractible kg are pivotally attached to a leg attaching portion of the base. Gripping all the three extendible/contractible legs, i.e. the middle extendible/contractible leg, the one-side extendible/contractible leg, and the opposite-side extendible/contractible kg, together causes the middle extendible/contractible leg, the one-side extendible/contractible leg, and the opposite-side extendible/contractible leg to simultaneously shift from a locked state to an unlocked state.

    摘要: An exhaust emission control apparatus includes a NOX catalyst provided within an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine where fuel combustion is continuously performed at a lean air/fuel ratio, and a reducing agent supply valve within the exhaust passage upstream of the NOX catalyst. If the NOX stored in the NOX catalyst is required to be decreased, a selector valve position is selected between a forward and a reverse flow positions so as to decrease a flow rate of the exhaust gas flowing through the NOX catalyst. Then a reducing agent is supplied upon elapse of a predetermined time period from the timing when the signal instructing to select the position of the selector valve. An oxygen sensor detects an oxygen concentration of the exhaust gas discharged from the NOX catalyst upon supply of the reducing agent. The elapsing time is corrected such that a peak value of the detected oxygen concentration accords with the target value.

    摘要: An emission control device stores SOx when the air/fuel ratio of exhaust gas is lean, and releases the stored SOx when the temperature of the emission control device is raised to a desulfurization temperature or higher and the air/fuel ratio of the exhaust gas becomes substantially equal to the stoichiometric air/fuel ratio or rich. The emission control device's temperature is controlled to be within a predetermined temperature range whose lower limit is substantially equal to or higher than the desulfurization temperature, and sulfur is released from the emission control device by controlling the air/fuel ratio of the exhaust gas to be substantially equal to the stoichiometric air/fuel ratio or rich when the temperature of the emission control device is within the predetermined temperature range. In the method, the temperature control process and the desulfurization process are repeated when sulfur is to be released from the emission control device.
