    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an ink compositions which, when used with an ink jet recording apparatus, can realize excellent ink ejection stability while maintaining safety and satisfactory penetration of ink. The ink composition according to the present invention comprises at least a colorant, a humectant, a glycol monoether as a penetrating agent, a 1,2-alkanediol, and water, the weight ratio of the glycol monoether to the 1,2-alkanediol being in the range of 1:5 to 5:1. According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided an ink composition comprising at least a pigment, a dispersant for dispersing the pigment, a 1,2-alkanediol, and water as a main solvent, the content of the 1,2-alkanediol being 0.5 to 10% by weight based on the total amount of the ink composition.

The invention also provides an ink set which includes: at least one dark pigment ink containing a pigment, a resinous dispersant, and water; and at least one light pigment ink which contains a pigment, a resinous dispersant, and water, and in which the concentration of the pigment is up to ½ the pigment concentration in the dark pigment ink, wherein the resinous dispersant in the dark pigment ink has a lower acid value than the resinous dispersant in the light pigment ink.

    摘要: A tank, containing a reaction solution, for use in an ink jet recording apparatus for depositing two liquids, that is, a reaction solution, containing a polyvalent metal salt, and an ink composition, onto a recording medium to conduct printing. This tank can solve a clogging problem of the reaction solution. A reaction solution containing a polyvalent metal salt is sealed into a reaction solution tank under reduced pressure. This prevents the reaction solution from creating a precipitate and, even after storage of the reaction solution for a long period of time, can realize good printing, especially clogging-free, stable printing A process for producing the reaction solution tank involves the steps of (a) evacuating a reaction solution reservoir through a communicating hole; (b) feeding and filling the reaction solution through the communicating hole into the reaction solution tank; and (c) evacuating the reaction solution reservoir and hermetically sealing the reaction solution reservoir in an evacuated state with a gas-impermeable sealing member.

    摘要: An overdrive device for motor vehicle transmissions includes a sun gear, planet pinions and a ring gear in meshing relationship. A one-way clutch having an inner race integrally secured to the sun gear is provided with the outer race of the one-way clutch being spline-coupled to a carrier which rotatably supports the planet pinions. A certain degree of slack or looseness is provided between the carrier and the outer race to permit some relative movement therebetween in the radial direction of the overdrive device.

    摘要: An automatic transmission includes a gear transmission mechanism including first and second friction mechanisms which are alternatively engaged by alternative supply of first and second pressures thereto when the highest speed stage and the next to highest speed stage are alternatively engaged, and a torque converter including a lockup clutch. A transmission control system includes a pressure control system which controls the gear transmission mechanism by selectively supplying those pressures and possibly others thereto, a lockup clutch control valve which according to its switched position controls the engagement of the lockup clutch and which is switched to its engage position by a control pressure, and a lockup clutch interrupt valve, which selectively transmits the first pressure to the lockup clutch control valve as the control pressure, which is supplied with the second pressure which when present switches it positively to its non communicating condition, and which is also supplied with governor pressure which in the absence of the second pressure switches it to the communicating condition when this governor pressure is higher than a certain value, and otherwise leaves it in the non communicating condition.
