Abstract:
A strip-shaped filter in the shape of a circular arc is arranged at a port opening portion of an oil passage, the port opening portion being in maximum proximity to a spool hole portion or a valve element, to prevent a contaminant in the oil passage from reaching the spool hole portion or the valve element. A groove portion is arranged to extend in a circumferential direction in a wall surface of the upper body which defines the spool hole portion. The port opening portion is defined in the groove portion, and is connected to the oil passage. The filter is housed in the groove portion to close the port opening portion defined in the groove portion.
Abstract:
A rotary valve 1 comprising a stator 3 and a rotor 5, wherein the stator comprises a plurality of connection ports (17a-17l) and orifices (19a-19l) and the rotor comprises a plurality of pairs of rotor valve orifices (23a-23h) joined by transfer channels (25a-25d). The rotor is able to be placed in different working positions whereby fluids can be fed to, for example, chromatography columns and/or can be bypassed through or around the valve. The invention also relates to a system comprising two components such as chromatography columns and a rotary valve.
Abstract:
A water distribution system having a dual use water treatment unit. The same water treatment unit can be used to treat water supplied from a fill port to a storage tank during a fill operation, as well as water leaving the storage tank for supply to one or more points of water use during a supply operation. When a diverter valve is in a fill position, water supplied to the fill port can flow through the diverter valve and to the water treatment unit for treatment then to the storage tank for storage. When the diverter valve is in a supply position, the water from the storage tank can be delivered using means for pressurizing water to the same treatment unit for treatment, then through the diverter valve and to a point of water use device.

Abstract:
A modular filter system using replaceable filter cartridges includes matching adaptor rings in the filter head and on the filter cartridge placed at selected circumferential positions to ensure proper cartridge fit and to provide a proprietary cartridge construction for selected users. The adaptor rings operate only to control cartridge to filter head fit and are not used to drive the rotary valve spindle.
Abstract:
Reverse osmosis filtration systems that are self contained and easily converted from above the counter use to below the counter use. The systems feature a simple construction, including a two piece manifold assembly to which filters, including a reverse osmosis filter, a product water storage tank and a control valve connect, all without separate fasteners. The manifold assembly provides all water connections within the system, and includes connections to connect to a water supply, a drain, two dispensers and to an auxiliary water storage tank. The system pressurizes squeeze water for product water dispensing, providing maximum efficiency, maximum storage capacity for a given tank size and maximum pressure for dispensing product water. Various embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract:
A filter device includes four couplers attached to four sides, and a casing attached to bottom. A filtering material receptacle may be attached to the casing for filtering the water. A valve member is rotatably received in the housing, and includes six openings and four spaces and to communicate the openings of the valve member with each other, and includes two passageways for communicating with two openings of the valve member. The filtering material may be flushed with the water, and may be forced to change ion or to be cleaned with cleansing agent simply by rotating the valve member relative to the housing.
Abstract:
A filter device (10), particularly for use with an agricultural sprayer, comprising a casing (20) with a bottom end (24) and an upper open end (23), a liquid inlet (27) and a liquid outlet (25), a lid (60) for releasable covering said casing (20) at said upper end (23), a valve structure (30) movable between a first position wherein said liquid inlet (27) is open and a second position wherein said liquid inlet (27) is blocked, and a filter element (100) including a mesh-like filtering medium (F) and being releasably arranged within said casing (20), for filtering liquid flowing from said liquid inlet (27) to said liquid outlet (25). According to the invention, the valve structure (30) is arranged at said bottom end (24), the liquid inlet (27) is arranged at said bottom end (24), and the filter element (100) is between said valve structure (30) and said lid (60).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of treating fabric suitable for manufacturing filter bags, the method including the step of: applying a coating material to the fabric configured as seamless tubing to form a coating of said coating material on an outside surface of the seamless tubing, thereby improving the filtering charateristics of the fabric.
