摘要: Methods and apparatuses are provided for compacting soil and granular materials. In some embodiments, the soil compaction apparatuses include an arrangement of diametric expansion elements that, in their expanded state, form a larger compaction surface. In another embodiment, a compaction chamber can be provided with diametric restriction elements and a flow-through passage in the upper portion of the chamber exterior of a drive shaft. The diametric expansion or restriction elements can be fabricated from, for example, individual chains, cables, or wire rope, or a lattice of vertically and horizontally connected chains, cables, or wire rope. Embodiments of the soil compaction apparatus include, but are not limited to, closed-ended driving shafts, open-ended driving shafts, flow-through passages, no flow-through passages, removable rings for holding the diametric expansion/restriction elements, and any combinations thereof.

摘要: A paving binder according to the present invention is used for a paving mixture for forming a pavement, including a polyamide resin having a weight average molecular weight, as measured by gel permeation chromatography of 2,000 or more and 10,000 or less and having an area, corresponding to a component having a molecular weight of 20,000 or more and 500,000 or less, of 0.5% or more and 12% or less of a total area in a chromatogram of molecular weight distribution as measured by gel permeation chromatography. Thus, tolerance for a severe temperature condition or loading condition can be improved, while ensuring convenience from the standpoint of laying such that the laying can be made by the conventional machine composition or laying system.

摘要: An acid modified asphalt binder is combined with an emulsifier solution to produce an emulsified asphalt binder. The acid modified asphalt binder may be formed by combining an asphalt binder, a phosphorous-based acid, and, optionally, a polymer modifier. The emulsifier solution may be produced by forming an aqueous solution of an amine and a phosphorous-based acid, which forms an aqueous solution comprising an amine phosphate. The emulsified asphalt binder may be combined with an aggregate to form a paving material. In other examples, the emulsified asphalt binder may be used alone, for example in a chip seal application, or in a diluted form, for example in a fog seal application.

Wherein each outlet nozzle includes a drivable closing mechanism with a closing element which, in an open position, fully uncovers the nozzle channel of the outlet nozzle. In a closed position, closes the nozzle channel. Such that the following functions are achieved: that a controller drives the closing mechanisms, with the outlet nozzles and the related closing elements being adapted to one another in such a fashion that the flow cross-section in the outlet nozzle is variable in accordance with the position of the closing element on a specified path between the open position and closed position.

The parametric dust model may include a plurality of locations within a worksite and a dust condition associated with each location. A fluid delivery requirement may be determined for each of the plurality of locations based on the parametric dust model. Moreover, a fluid delivery plan may be generated based on the determined fluid delivery requirements. The fluid delivery plan may include a route for delivering fluid to the plurality of locations using a fluid delivery machine.
