    摘要: Cathode-ray tube comprising a glass envelope composed of a substantially rectangular faceplate, of a flared rear part and of a substantially cylindrical neck, the flared part including an anode button for receiving the high voltage, the outer surface of the said flared part being partially covered by an electrically conducting layer, adhering to the said outer surface, the electrically conducting layer being a metallic layer composed mainly of aluminium. This layer makes it possible to improve the image distortions due to the drop in the high voltage during current spikes delivered by the high voltage.

    摘要: An improved shaft is described with which a sponge saturated with carbon coating can be pushed through the narrow neck of a cathode ray tube funnel to fully coat the interior of the neck with the carbon coating. The improved shaft is made of a plastic composite material, for example. This improved shaft is much less expensive than previous stainless steel shafts and has enough flexibility that it is not easily bent when plunged into a funnel that is not properly aligned and centered under the shaft.

    摘要: The present invention pertains to a transparent conductive layered structure having a transparent substrate and a transparent 2-layer film consisting of a transparent conductive layer and a transparent coating layer formed in succession on this substrate, that is used for instance, in the front panel of displays, such as CRTs, etc. The above-mentioned transparent conductive layer has as its main components noble metal microparticles with a mean particle diameter of 1 to 100 nm composed of gold and/or platinum and silver and containing 5 to 95 wt % gold and/or platinum, colored pigment microparticles with a mean particle diameter of 5 to 200 nm, and binder matrix. The noble metal microparticles are mixed at a ratio of 1 to 40 parts by weight per 1 part by weight colored pigment microparticles. Moreover, it is characterized in that the transparent 2-layer film has a surface resistance of 10 to 5000 &OHgr;/□, reflectance of 0 to 2.5%, visible light transmittance of 40 to 75%, and standard deviation of transmittance at each wavelength in 5 nm intervals of the visible light wavelength region being 0 to 5%.
