Abstract: Techniques for separating shareable images from non-shareable images. In various implementations, image metadata and feature analysis may be used to evaluate the “shareability” of a photograph associated with a particular user. In some implementations, single photos may be determined to be shareable. In another implementation, an event associated with multiple photos may be determined to be shareable. In some implementations, a photo may be determined to be shareable with a single recipient. In another implementation, a photo may be determined to be shareable with multiple recipients. In yet another implementation, these techniques may be assisted by supervised machine learning. In still yet another implementation, photos determined to be shareable may be suggested to a user for sharing, or automatically shared, per an opt-in feature.

Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems are described for enrolling a user's bring-your-own-device for secure connection to a company's enterprise computer network. From her mobile device, user clicks on a uniform resource locator (URL) to connect with the login web page on the enterprise network. After authentication, checks are performed to verify that the user has authorization to enroll the type of electronic device, and the profile is installed on the device. A notification is sent to the device by a server on the enterprise network, and a secure workspace application is pushed to the device along with configuration data that automatically links the workspace with the parent device enrollment. Once the user launches the secure workspace application the workspace access configuration data and initializes enrollment with the enterprise network, resulting in a linking of the secure workspace application with its parent device enrollment. The workspace is registered as a child of the parent device, and the lifecycle of the workspace is thus linked to that of the parent.

Abstract: Method and systems of providing remote access to an application in a tiered remote access framework that includes a server tier and a client tier. In the server tier, an application that is remotely accessed and a server remote access application execute on a server. In the client tier, a client remote access application executes on a client device. A server SDK may be associated with the application in the server tier, where the server SDK being adapted to communicate display information to the client tier. A client SDK may be associated with a client application executing on the client device, where the client SDK receives the display information from the server tier. The client device connects to the server at an enumerated Uniform Resource Locator (URL) to initiate the reception of the display information.

Abstract: Described is a technology by which network connections are unified into a single user interface for user interaction with those networks. Upon receiving information identifying available networks that correspond to different types of media, a user interface component aggregates the available network connections and displays representations of the available network connections on the user interface. The result is a single user interface page on which the available networks are represented as available network connections that may correspond to destinations, for example by displaying a network name and/or a user-friendly name maintained in a network profile. Also displayable is connectivity status, security-related information, signal strength information for wireless network connections, and other information. The user may choose to show all available network connections, or only subset of the available network connections (e.g., only wireless, or only dial-up and VPN).

Abstract: Process, equipment, and computer program product code for configuring a network security device using a hand-held computing device are provided. Default initial settings for a network security device are received by a mobile application running on a hand-held computing device. The default initial settings represent settings that allow the network security device to be remotely managed via a network to which the network security device is coupled. The default initial settings are presented to a network administrator via a touch-screen display of the hand-held computing device. Revisions to or acceptance of the default initial settings are received by the mobile application. The mobile application causes the network security device to be configured with the revised or accepted default initial settings by delivering the settings to the network security device via a management interface to which the hand-held computing device is coupled via a connecting cable.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for generating a logical application by grouping multiple physical distributions of an application for programming a plurality of electronic devices. A logical application can run separate commands through a single interface, lessening the number of connections needed between different user's electronic devices (e.g., smart phones, tablets, workstations, wearable computers) and a company's various servers. In certain embodiments, different physical distributions of the application may correspond to different operating systems versions of the application. Compiled code for each of these operating systems and device types is controlled and assigned to select users' devices from vastly different distribution architectures. In certain embodiments, a particular version (i.e., physical distribution) of the logical application to be installed to the device is determined based on the operating system of the device and the appropriate version of the logical application is installed on the device.

Abstract: A method for interactive response and an apparatus thereof are provided. Establishing the connection with the serving terminal includes: the user terminal transmits a calling request to a network device; after establishing a Session Initiating Protocol (SIP) calling supporting text transmission between the network device and the service terminal, the user terminal receives a calling response message returned by the network device.
