    摘要: The present invention relates to an amination process for the manufacture of polyamines. The purpose of the process is to increase the selectivity of linear aminated products and to prevent the formation of discoloring by-products or by-products which may later cause discoloration. According to the process this is achieved by performing, in a first part of the process, the amination to a conversion degree of between 50 and 98% by weight, calculated on the total yield of polyamines, at a proportionally time-weighted average temperature, which is at least 15.degree. C. higher than the proportionally time-weighted average temperature in the remaining part.

    摘要: Describes a method of electrochemically converting amine hydrohalide, e.g., ethyleneamine hydrochloride, into free amine, e.g., free ethyleneamine, by charging an aqueous solution of amine hydrohalide to the catholyte compartment of an electrolytic cell, which contains a cathode, charging hydrogen gas to the anode compartment of the cell, which contains an anode assembly comprised of a hydrogen consuming gas diffusion anode fixedly held between a current collecting electrode and an anion exchange membrane. The catholyte and anode compartments of the cell are separated by the anion exchange membrane. An amine hydrohalide solution containing free amine is removed from the catholyte compartment.

    摘要: In the recovery of ethylene amines from aqueous solutions by alcohol extraction the alcoholic extract is treated with carbon dioxide so as to convert the extracted amines into carbamates, which are then back extracted with water and recovered by conventional decarbonation and dehydration. The double extraction technique results in an aqueous concentrate of at least twice the original amine concentration.

    摘要: Ethyleneamines are recovered from an aqueous solution of carbonates of ethyleneamines by distilling an aqueous solution of carbonates of ethyleneamines including ethylenediamine, in which the molar ratio of the carbon dioxide component to the ethyleneamines including ethylenediamine is 0.01 to 0.5, whereby ethylenediamine is distilled out together with water. The aqueous solution to be distilled is advantageously prepared by heating an aqueous solution of carbonates of ethyleneamines including ethylenediamine to effect decarboxylation.
