摘要: For protecting a tubular or a component attached to the tubular, two sections of the expandable tubular are formed into two complete centralizing rings or two partial centralizing rings having a larger outer diameter than the remainder of the expandable tubular. A sleeve is placed over a box thread of the tubular or over the component. An adhesive fully covers the space between the inside diameter of the sleeve and the outside diameter of the box thread or component. The sleeve remains in place when the tubular is placed down hole.

摘要: A wellbore tool includes a cooling section positioned within the tool for the purpose of maintaining the temperature sensitive components within their rated operating temperature range. The cooling section includes an evaporator, compressor, condenser, power device, expansion device. The compressor is positioned within the condenser. The components whose temperatures are to be maintained are in thermal contact to the evaporator. The cooling process is based upon the vapor compression cycle.

摘要: A hinged structure includes a hinge that is actuatable using a hydraulic cylinder. A method of monitoring a load applied to the hinged structure involves leaking the hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic cylinder in a way that compensates for expansion of the hydraulic fluid caused by variations in temperature of the hydraulic fluid. The method further involves measuring the pressure of the hydraulic fluid in the hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder may be part of a coiled tubing injector. The load applied to the hydraulic cylinder may be used to indicate an overload of the tubing guide.

摘要: A system for two-phase immersion cooling includes an immersion tank, and a plurality of busbars, each busbar extending through a wall of the immersion tank. The system also includes a plurality of voltage converters mounted on a skid, on which the immersion tank can also be mounted. The system preferably includes means for preventing leakage of dielectric fluid around the busbars and means for connecting each busbar plate to the modular cases holding circuit boards that can be inserted into the immersion tank.

摘要: Herein disclosed is a method of reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emission comprising introducing one or more feed streams into a reformer to generate synthesis gas; and converting synthesis gas to dimethyl ether (DME). In some cases, the reformer is a fluidized bed dry reforming reactor. In some cases, the reformer comprises a hydrogen membrane. In some cases, the hydrogen membrane removes hydrogen contained in the synthesis gas and shifts reforming reactions toward completion.

摘要: A system for the production of synthesis gas, including a gasification apparatus configured to convert at least a portion of a gasifier feed material introduced thereto into a gasification product gas comprising synthesis gas having a molar ratio of hydrogen to carbon monoxide; at least one additional apparatus selected from the group consisting of feed preparation apparatus located upstream of the gasification apparatus, synthesis gas conditioning apparatus, and synthesis gas utilization apparatus; and at least one line fluidly connecting the at least one additional apparatus or an outlet of the gasification apparatus with the at least one vessel of the gasification apparatus, whereby a gas from the at least one additional apparatus or exiting the gasification apparatus may provide at least one non-steam component of a fluidization gas. A method of utilizing the system is also provided.

摘要: A method of strengthening a precipitated unsupported iron catalyst by: preparing a precipitated unsupported iron catalyst containing copper and potassium; adding a solution comprising a structural promoter to the previously prepared catalyst; drying the mixture; and calcining the dried catalyst. A method for preparing an iron catalyst, the method comprising: precipitating a catalyst precursor comprising iron phases selected from hydroxides, oxides, and carbonates; adding a promoter to the catalyst precursor to yield a promoted precursor; drying the promoted precursor to yield dried catalyst; and calcining the dried catalyst, wherein the catalyst further comprises copper and potassium. A method of preparing a strengthened precipitated iron catalyst comprising: co-precipitating iron, copper, magnesium, and aluminum; washing the precipitate; alkalizing the precipitate; and drying the precipitate to yield a dried catalyst precursor. The dried catalyst precursor may be calcined and treated with a gas comprising carbon monoxide.
