The tank is arranged in the circuit to retain a defined quantity of coolant at a temperature above the ambient temperature when the engine is inactive, and for causing this quantity of coolant to flow, at a temperature above the ambient temperature, into the cooling circuit of the engine, after a subsequent start of the engine, during an engine warm up stage. The circuit also includes an expansion vessel connected to the outer circuit portion of the coolant of the engine. The expansion vessel has a thermally insulated body and constitutes the thermally insulated tank for the engine coolant.

An air guiding device for a motor-vehicle includes a main chamber located at the rear of a front wall of the motor vehicle, and defined between said front wall, a rear wall which is spaced apart from said front wall and two side walls. A first opening is provided on said front wall, for the inlet of air into said main chamber, while at least one second opening on said rear wall guides the air into an engine compartment. Two side ducts extend from an inlet to an outlet giving out on a respective outer side wall of the motor-vehicle. To said second opening there is associated a device for controlling the air flow therethrough. The outlets of the two side ducts are arranged and oriented so as to generate a substantially flattened and vertical air curtain adjacent to each front wheel of the motor-vehicle.

A method for measuring a degree of cross-linking of a component of elastomeric material obtained as a result of a hot-forming process, includes a preliminary calibration step in which a plurality of samples are provided, made of the same material as the component. The samples have different degrees of cross-linking following respective hot-forming processes conducted for different periods of time. The preliminary calibration step includes providing a measuring device having an electrical circuit, in which a voltage generator is arranged in series with metal contacts configured to selectively receive a sample, and an ammeter, positioning a sample between said metal contacts, providing a predetermined voltage value, and detecting the corresponding current value by means of said ammeter. The aforesaid steps are repeated for each sample so as to obtain a calibration map that associates a given degree of cross-linking of the material constituting said component with each determined value of electrical conductivity.

A controller of controls one or more control valves to open only one of the intake valves of each cylinder in a condition of reduced engine operation, below a predetermined load and/or a predetermined speed of the engine, and to always open both intake valves in the remaining conditions of engine operation. The first intake valve is the only valve to be opened in the reduced engine operation condition.
