    摘要: A method of making a card such as a business card or greeting card on photosensitive media using images photographically recorded in successive frames on photographic film, the photographic film including a magnetic layer. The method comprises magnetically recording at an order entry station instructions in the magnetic layer instructions specifying one of the frames, a graphic location and a source of a graphic image to be placed on the graphic location, magnetically reading the instructions from the magnetic layer, fetching the graphic image from the source specified by the recorded instructions and generating a graphic light source to project the graphic image fetched from the source, and exposing at a print station one portion of the photosensitive media to the frame on the film corresponding to the frame number specified by the recorded instructions and exposing another portion of the photosensitive media to the graphic light source.

One of a plurality of finishing rollers is moved into operative engagement with a fusing roller to provide the desired finish. The fusing roller is heated internally. The finishing rollers which are rotatable brought into contact with the fusing roller each have a different and distinct surface characteristic. Three types are surfaces are described these being a glossy surface, a matte surface and a textured surface.

    摘要: An apparatus for multimodal imaging of an object includes a support stage for receiving an object to be imaged; an object supported on the stage, a light source for producing a beam to illuminate the object; a filter positioned to receive and pass the beam toward the object; and a lens and camera system for capturing an image of the object. The apparatus may include a tiltable filter for filtering light from the source. The apparatus may include a mechanism for selectively directing light from the light source through a first filter assembly to produce a first beam of light of a first frequency range for illuminating an object on the stage in a first imaging mode or through a second filter assembly to produce a second beam of light of a second frequency range for illuminating an object on the stage in a second imaging mode, so that the lens and camera system captures light from the object illuminated by either the first or second beam of light to produce a first image in response to the first beam and a second image, different from the first image, in response to the second image. An x-ray source and phosphor plate may be included to provide an additional imaging mode.
